But those who "diligently seek" God, will indeed have the truth of the Word and won't be swayed by these other translations and emergent doctrines that are growing today. Know how God does something amazing doesn’t make it any less amazing. And I am not saying this applies to all Protestants, but its the narrative a lot of us are presented. Basically that the most correct version of the Bible finally showed up about 1611 and we the finalized version 1800 years after Christ ascended to Heaven. Contrast that with the fact that the Catholic Church has been documenting everything from the very start. Early Church fathers like Polycarp, Ignatius of Antioch, Clement of Rome, men who likely KNEW the Apostles personally like those mentioned in Cold Case Christianity aren’t usually looked at too deeply in Protestantism because they often present very Catholic ideas about the Lord’s Supper and about Mary mother of Jesus. Not trying to convert anyone to Catholicism here, but when we just overlook and ignore the significance that Catholicism plays in the preservation of the Bible its pretty insane.
