I'm confused about TYPE II and it's 'Cause'. I"ve learned from Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Michael Greger, and other functional doctors that the actual 'cause' of Type II Diabetes is from consuming too much animal protein, which then eventually fills our cells with fat/animal protein preventing the insulin receptor from being able to bring in the sugars from the blood; and once diet is changed, and animal protein is avoided or consumed minimally (and fruits and vegetables intake are high - a plant rich diet) then the fat/animal protein is eventually removed from the cells and allows the receptor to eventually bring in the sugars, which soon enough ends up with the need to lower or eliminate the BigPharma pills for Type II patients. I've learned that Type II has been improved and reversed from this concept in so many, many patients of these doctors I've mentioned. So, again, I'm just noting and asking here again: IS THE CAUSE of Type II Diabetes from high consumptions of animal protein/fat and IS THE EFFECT from consuming so much animal protein, the high blood sugars?? It seems this should be so clear across the board but I don't hear other doctors mentioning this - especially my own 'mainstream doctor' who says "it's all about the sugars". I don't believe or agree with that anymore. Anyway, I loved, loved, loved this interview and look forward to reading 'Drop Acid'.
