This guy knows nothing. As I suspected, I checked “Sound B” on a spectrum analyzer and it does have 100, 150, and 200 Hz but also has mixing products including 50 Hz (150-100) which is lower than Sound A. There’s nothing strange here - just someone who does not understand the electronic reproduction of sound.

Late to this, but this guy needs to get his hearing checked. Sound B was obviously higher than A. Then, later, 'I heard the sound go down' from the organ when it went higher. I think this might be less 'illusions' and more a case that someone has a problem with their hearing. I couldn't even finish watching the video, because there was no 'illusion'.

I tell you one place the Mondegreen comes in a lot its when they listen to checklists on aircrash blackbox recordings. The one that really springs to mind is the crash in Washington going in to the Potomac river the pilot usually flew in Florida and they didnt turn the anti ice on. It wa really hard to believe they said off and you thought they said on . When you heard the slow layback it was OFF ...

I will give a example for 63 3/4 ft length thats a tenpin bowling lane from edge of approach to edge of the pindeck.. I always use that as reference . Dont know why other than I was an engineer in a bowling centre and it was tedious when you had an intermitent problem at the player end or when you were doing scoring testing etc and having to walk constantly back and forth .

The binaural beats at 22:00 sound like alternating beats for 3-5 beats then my mind merges them into a single note (or chord, maybe?). I stop hearing the alternating beats and it becomes one continuous sound. I believe the "new" sound is just the highest note but they're so close together I can't be sure. Does anyone else experience that? It's upsetting so little time was dedicated to this in the video.
