You don't need to entertain the kid all the time. It's ok when they are bored. They get creative then.

Look at us. We parents ourselves are hooked to phone to watch sadhguru's stuff. Just stop over thinking and over analyzing. We need not take each and every of his talks so seriously. Our parents were never so interesting during our childhood days, rather they were minding their own daily routine work religiously and were practically very saneful in handling their kids. Nowadays, in the name of good parenting, children are continuously subject to parents spoon feeding, which has become a hindrance to their natural growth and their original thought process. In fact, sometimes, I'm thankful for the phones, because, i surely know that my knowledge is very limited and any new things to learn, for my kids, which is beyond my capacities and limits, is definitely available in the phones β€π

It's easier said than done. With so many distractions all around the corners it's way too difficult. As a parent, a homemaker, I find it challenging to keep my children busy all the time or even allow them to be bored for some time as some kind of gadgets will be available at home. If you take them outside then it's hard to keep them away from things like junk food and toys. It's difficult especially if you are living in cities as it's neither safe to send the children to play on their own with friends nor there are any natural environment for the kids to explore.

It doesnβt work that way darling. Raised any teenagers lately? Yes agreed but not realistic as they pass into their teens. The natural need they have to join their peers and leave their parents is usurped by electronic overkill plus radiation from cell phones and itβs hazards are fully covered up by the mega telecommunications giants that lobbied this planet to take our rights to protest cell technology before it was released onto our midst bringing plethora social calamitous confusion, violence and human lovelessness.
