<<@TomBilyeu says : What’s the most useful tip you can share for fat loss?>> <<@ZenWorkHan says : I want to hear from all the ladies that have to contend with weight gain due to perimenopause/menopause effect. The shift in hormones and the imbalance that follows wrecks havoc and contending with weight gain as a result is hell! I used to be able to lose weight so long as I put in a decent amount of effort. Now, in perimenopause stage, forget about it! The most discouraging thing ever! 😭>> <<@gerardhunter9925 says : I love Richard Johnson, he is a total genius.>> <<@chrismarkenson2755 says : Excellent analogies, very patient and accommodating responses to waldos quick response questions>> <<@davidg.johnson7574 says : Is Mr. Johnson, the author, eating a lot of fruit? When someone speaks about a how to lose weight plan, and they look like they have a few extra pounds on them, I question their credibility. The weight loss plan/book, may be scientifically legit, but why does the speaker not practice what he preaches?>> <<@krispr1me says : Going to make sure vitamin C is part of my daily diet now.>> <<@АннаБирюкова-я3ь says : 😊❤>> <<@donquixote453 says : Also, Youtube fruitarians---very lean. Why??>> <<@donquixote453 says : there was a study in the 50s re: people eating only white rice and table sugar and they lost significant weight. Why was that??>> <<@casper98204 says : WOW. Salt is the culprit in my struggles to shed this weight. Thanks for the info.>> <<@jesd5578 says : I’m a bit surprised at all the supporting comments. Just remember he’s not saying that fruit is bad - only fructose - which is without the fibre. I only watched half, getting really bored of this one. There’s thousands of thin fruitarians. Fruit is not bad. It’s when it’s eaten wrongly it’s bad. Don’t juice it or smoothie it, don’t eat it with other foods. Fruit only meals. This guy means well, but not much research here. Not for me anyway. I’m really surprised at all the supportive comments. Maybe it’s cos he’s a nice guy. And maybe we’re all at different stages of knowledge. Keep learning 👍>> <<@lisar.2549 says : This information is amazing! Excuse me for being dubious about believing anyone knows what happened billions of years ago, but I believe what he says about how our body works now!>> <<@matildawendelin5210 says : If only Dr. Johnson could teach every health class in grade school. Understanding how my body works in such detail makes me appreciate every fat cell on it and makes me want to take care of it even better (and now I even know how). Just ordered his book.>> <<@cathleensmith4717 says : Glucose/Fructose, death by many cuts😢>> <<@2026-e8h says : CORRECTION!!! NATURE DOESN'T WANT US TO BE FAT...IT'S MAN THAT WANTS US FAT!!!>> <<@emh8861 says : Meat ??? Fish ???? Confused.>> <<@emh8861 says : Very very interesting. To fruit or not to fruit . That is the question 🤣>> <<@Youcantreignmein says : Hahaha this guys brilliant, this is why I am storing fat😅all this talk of food being unreliable trucks etc>> <<@katerinalongoria9750 says : So how do we remove that enzyme from ourselves?! Sounds like the key!! 😢>> <<@rebeccacastellano4414 says : Most of the people I know that struggle with their weight do not eat fruit. I can assure you!>> <<@rebeccacastellano4414 says : The Mastering Diabetes guys would debunk this. I commend you for being a most great host and commentator. You provided c a platform for truel allowing your guest speaker to do just that...speak what he knows to be truth. It is a true gift to add commentary or know the pertinent questions to ask using right timing to gently guide and provide all the essense of the subjects being shared. You have mastered this art. Bravo!!!>> <<@conniechan4411 says : Sincere feedback, let the mic closer to the speaker . I keep pressing my phone volume to max max max max and still.........>> <<@patriciavoss6931 says : Loved it>> <<@jeffreyharrison4045 says : Love this! Just got the book. Loved loved this interview ❤>> <<@freedomseekerz440 says : Look into Dr. JACK KRUCE and the sun and its effect on Mitochondria health..>> <<@kweight8498 says : No matter what you choose, diet, exercise or meds. Weight loss is not easy. I recently shared my story on my channel, on how I lost 22 pounds in 5 weeks, which could be really helpful to anyone struggling with weight loss.>> <<@andredarin8966 says : So, what do you do with this research cited by the NIH in "Nutrition and Metabolism"? "Although acute fructose consumption could not stimulate leptin secretion, an increase in fasting leptin levels was detected after chronic high fructose intake (1 to 4 weeks) in healthy individuals, which may suggest that high fructose feeding may suppress food intake in the long term. Another long-term study in overweight/obese humans showed no change in body weight after 10 week-supplementation with glucose or fructose, indicating that the effect of fructose or glucose on food intake might not differ on a long-term basis." And this: "Certainly high fructose consumption can induce insulin resistance, impaired glucose tolerance, hyperinsulinemia, hypertriglyceridemia, and hypertension in animal models. There is no evidence for similar effects in humans at realistic consumption patterns. Although there are existing data on the metabolic and endocrine effects of dietary fructose that suggest that increased consumption of fructose may be detrimental in terms of body weight and adiposity and the metabolic indexes associated with the insulin resistance syndrome, much more research is needed to fully understand the metabolic effect of dietary fructose in humans. Despite the epidemiological parallel between the marked increase of obesity and fructose consumption, there is no direct evidence linking obesity to the consumption of physiological amounts of fructose in humans (≤ 100g/day). A moderate dose (≤ 50g/day) of added fructose has no deleterious effect on fasting and postprandial triglycerides, glucose control and insulin resistance.">> <<@simev500 says : So that we know ingested glucose turns into adipose storage when in excess, the next question is: does ingested fats get stored in the same way, why is this saturated fats different from that made by pancreatic or liver insulin?>> <<@rebeccar4312 says : This is SOOO confusing...there is a book entitled Mastering Diabetes and they say to eat all the fruit that you want...a friend of mine, who had diabetes, went on this high fruit diet and she not only lost lots of weight and reversed her diabetes, but also feels so much better. So, when there is so much contradictory information out there how does one know what to do??!? Or to believe? Or path to take???>> <<@pmraul2921 says : Thank you for your content. Soooo Goood. 👍>> <<@paolabisoneaux4056 says : I keep trying to listen to the expert but you insist in sharing whatever related knowledge you have delaying and derailing the guest. Expert we are here to learn from. And I’m skinny as heck.>> <<@TheSnoopyclone says : The number 1 way is to eat less.>> <<@rjreddenbaker4351 says : I shared this with many and subscribed to Toms channel after watching this. Great video and the clearest explanation I've heard on the process of getting fat. Also awaiting my free Audible credit next month to get Dr Johnson's book. Best tip I can offer is educate yourself and try to become aware of your motives every time you go to eat. A food journal really helped with that. Other than that, just remember that sugar is poison and carbs can kill. Good luck and good health to all trying to get it worked out! Keep the faith! Carnivore worked for me. Down 97lbs in 7 months. Feel great.>> <<@doogiehowser1124 says : One hour to get to the point...nice work.>> <<@nutsyfern says : What about parts of the world where fruits are available all throughout the year? Like in South India, we dont have a season so extreme that no fruits can grow.>> <<@maxsmart8954 says : Only red meat *beef liver and beef tongue *. Chicken and fish veggies. No sugar or carb.>> <<@MarkusAReallyUs says : Amazing video and so much good info.>> <<@WideAwakeHuman says : Exercise, resistance, absolutely helps burn fat but it has very little to do with how many calories you burn during the activity - increases insulin sensitivity and causes all sorts of hormonal and genetic switches that result in fat loss>> <<@tatjanatopic4074 says : Interesting to look at all the carnivores thriving on red meat and salt. How that fits his understanding of human body? Not to mention how counterintuitive it is to take serious advices from someone who's overall physique impression appears far from healthy and optimal.>> <<@estrellahaley5409 says : Yeah it’s called moderate and diverse diet and atleast 2-3 day it’s exercise a week humans didn’t eat the same thing everyday like we do today they had to hunt and search for food and it was physically stressful Bauer like every other species we only hunted for what we needed for a the next few days>>
