Softer wood tables like pine. Yes, you will have to maintain/replace them sometimes. Then you can insert/remove poles accordingly AND adjust height to create an angle for rain off. We left out through the garage after deadbolting the front door. Come to find out this deadbolt did not have a key hole on the other side...It was a night time lock, like they have at hotels some times. So we were locked out of the rental home and had to call a locksmith to come help us break into the back sliding glass door. This kind of stuff is common with rentals it seems lol. In the years after that we would stay in the same home.
