Back in 2015, I tried using Dawn soap with near boiling hot water, twice and they were still moving, and tried going back to their nest. Raid has the same result. They'll get knocked down, clean their wings and fly off after you. Sprays up to 15 feet. Release the pressure when not in use to save the seals and snug up the pump then pump up when needed.
