Oppression only begets resistance. You cannot brutalize a people for generations and then feign surprise when they fight back. Lastly, let’s address the arrogance. Israel has long prided itself on its ability to destabilize the region, to sow chaos and discord, and in the process, it has not only fueled terrorism but actively created it. They boast of a lack of democracy in the Middle East as if they had no hand in killing it.
