Gwynne Shotwell and those engineers work some peak technical voodoo to pull off all that they do. But Starship has already failed. Who would fly on a Starship that has returned 3 times? NASA lost the telemetry data, Blueprints, the original footage, and the technology was destroyed. Why? If you really went to the moon all these data and technology would be kept as the most valuable relics of human history. However, if you fake the moon landings and people are investigating you, Deleting and destroying data and technology is exactly what you would do. Elon is nothing but a willing scapegoat. You mustn't make a mistake here, This is a mutual back scratch between NASA and Elon. NASA stored them in the basement of one of the buildings on Redstone Arsenal (Huntsville, Alabama). The building got flooded, and plans were destroyed. NASA went to all the individual contractors and tried to put them all back together, but some of the contractors did not have their parts of the plan. Hence, NASA had to outsource a new Saturn V. Unfortunately, this is the norm, companies with billion dollar contracts with the US Government go over budget and past deadlines all the time. At the end of the day, 1. SpaceX has accomplished something no one else has, and 2.
