Talking about action… I haven’t really known about the concept of action and I don’t think that I will in my next few years at university and I first heard of it when I watched a video of yours not so long ago, I think it was about the Ahranov-Bohm effect. Hearing that the action principle wasn’t really taken serious in its origin due to a lack of reasoning, I thought about how you could reason That lowest action is what to be achieved by nature. I came to the conclusion that lowest action means lowest energy input. You want to travel further=you would have to use mit energy, you want to travel faster= you would have to use more energy and the same goes for heavier things. So in general the action formula is about doing stuff with the lowest energy input. But that doesn’t seem right regarding that physicist at that time weren’t thinking about this, so my question: Why is my thought wrong, what makes the action principle so complicated that it isn’t trivial as I perceived it?
