Sorry but delivering allot of energy is not needed for an arrow when hunting, penetration is, an arrow through both lungs is superior to one stuck in the ribs with the impact of a pro boxer punching the same spot. In many native cultures they would use tiny and nerow stone points for a number of reasons. Limited stone availability. You can make 4 for the size of 1. Weak bow woods such as pine or willow. Accuracy for unmatched arrow spinal shafts. And penitration. It takes much less energy to get into the ribs with a little point. As you just confirmed. And your game would be dispatched just as quickly as a big clunkey point.
