instead of asking these questions they could just pick randomly and say they don’t want to be working with unlucky people. would yield same selection result but at least it’s fair and nobody waste their time

Just remember, this hiring process has resulted in these kinds of people working there thinking replacing google search with a forced AI prompt, and leaving noanual search function or process not dependent on AI was a good idea, and that reliance on AI entirely for basically everything, even in its current state, is a good idea.

I hire people often and I can tell you Google is trying not to hire solitary nerds that ace tests. They're looking for social people that will make working with them productive and exciting knowing they can sympathise with the common person using their products.

To jump out is an underwhelming answer for how intriguing the teaser setup is. The only answer that makes sense to me is to question the question. Why is this important? Is there an actual answer or is this just a behavior test? Etc.

My answer, Wake up. It is impossible to get shrunk down to the size of a nickle so its obviously a dream. They arent saying you need to get out of the blender they just tell you that you are in the blender and its going to turn on. you all just assumed the answer was escape. Let the blade hit you and it will shock you awake.

<<@CucumbersRock

Well, depending on the weight, I actually have quite good grip strength, and I have done something similar where I’ve kind of made my hand sticky so maybe I would lick my hands and kind of spread out and kind of suction myself which I have done and since depending on the material of the blender, most blenders that material is very good for gripping of human hands, which I have, especially on the playground when I was a child, but after that, if that doesn’t work, I’m probably dead

<<@kailashbahadur5607

But u shrunk me…..i have the same mass….too heavy to even stand up
>>
<<@PeterDB90
says :
Wouldn't you need the explosive power of a "fast twitch" muscle to jump like that? I feel like our regular type of "squat down then push upwards with as much strength as possible" jump will not yield the same height because it's not a "twitchy" motion, it's still smooth and continues, despite the strength behind it. I think we'd likely jump to about slightly half the height of the blender with our current unchanged proportional muscles.

If it’s a question for a Google interview, than the right answer is, “I would spend those 60 seconds Googling the answer。”

<<@KylianStieglitz-e5x

Alright I took it differently and maybe that's my bad or not. But like we shrunk down right? We didn't lose mass we lost surface area. So just destroy the glass right? Like the same mass but much denser just means greater force on a single point. So the glass is just toast

<<@EngineeringNS

Answering this question requires niche prior knowledge. That makes it a dumb question because raw intelligence of raw problem solving ability is not enough to answer it. Inversely it can be answered without high intelligence or problem solving ability if someone simply has heard a random tidbit of information.

I confused why no one went down the path of having the person who put you in to take you out. Or implement context that wasn’t already set. lol like how the shrinking effect wears off in 30 seconds, or that their friend said it was wrong and took you back out, or a cat came and knocked over the blender lol you guys are very close minded

<<@whoathatsalotofdamage3718

I think a secondary solution exists Generally, at that size and with nothing else in the blender, youd likely be mostly safe on the edge of the blender anyway. Blenders need a substrate to create friction with the other items being blended, and a nickle sized human with only air in the blender isnt necessarily in immediate harm at the walls of the blender
>>
<<@Curagenex
says :
That is the wrong answer in my opinion. So think about a mini me, but don't overthink it? Making a smaller person, but the cells do not decrease in the same proportion is not shrinks. Cells don't work like that. Giko and Ants might be more accurate.
