I mean really, Tony Stark? The Marvel Universe movies were pretty much different from the comic book origins. And if Tony Stark goes from playboy to hero you have Steve Rogers go from hero to nothing. Steve Rogers, you ask? Yes, the weakling who became Captain America, but even before he was Captain America he had the heart of a hero. In one of the movies Captain America and the Black Widow are escorting Loki to Avenger headquarters, when Thor smashes through the side of the aircraft they're in, grabs Loki, and jumps back out through the hole he made in the plane. Captain America secures his shield on his back and takes a step towards that gaping hole, when the Black Widow calls out, "Cap, you can't do that. They're gods." He turns to face her and says, "Begging your pardon ma'am, but there's only One God, and as far as I know He doesn't dress like that." After saying this he jumps out of the hole in the plane. His powerful body keeps him from dying on impact, but his statement of faith in One God gave him the power to jump out in the first place. At the end of the series of movies, Captain America doesn't seem to have a goal. He's less than a 5th wheel, even though other Avengers look to him for leadership. "Without a vision the people perish." Steve Rogers, aka Captain America seems to have lost his vision, his goal, and fades away like a worn out backdrop. All these super heroes, Marvel, DC and all those other independent companies, they fight evil with carnal weapons. That's why they always seem to be playing catchup. There's a picture of some of these heroes sitting on a I beam high in the air, with Jesus sitting in the middle of them. He's just finishing up talking to them, and we get to hear the last few words He says to these heroes, "...and that's how I saved the world." You see, Jesus used spiritual weapons and wore spiritual armor. When He died on the cross the devil thought he won, then he felt the foot of Almighty God crushing his head. When I started making mine, I knew I had to give them more of a purpose than what Marvel or DC did for theirs. One of my characters has demonic like powers that he gained from a demonic helmet Satan wore in the battle of Arigon ( my take on biblical stuff is kinda out there but don't hate, its a fictional take on it ), which was after the battle in Heaven. After nearly half of Satan's angels became demons, the other half were sent to the void, and were stuck there until God pulled them back to fight Satan and take away his relics, which he stole from the cultures of the world, mostly pagan cultures, and formed them into a helmet that would amplify his powers further and further near the level of Metatron, who in my universe is semi on par with God. But Azazel tricked Satan into giving him the helmet for safe keeping and took it to earth so Azazel could hide it. Thousands of years later, the helmet is found in Vietnam, and was sent to the U.S to be placed in a museum for religious relics. The owner of the museum wasn't fond of anything satanic being brought into his building, but by law he had to accept it. So he waits until night to inspect it, but is tempted to put it on, and does so, and his mind is sent directly to hell. He confronts satan and satan tells him all about the earth's history of making deals with demons, all of the wars that were caused from his temptations, etc. Out of no where, the man is sucked into heaven by Michael and Metatron to meet with God and see his parents one last time, as they were killed by satanists when he was younger. After meeting with God, he knew he had to become something that both man and satan's devils would fear.
