The mystical aspect is okay but I prefer hardcore military objectives over fantasy and the game still desperately needs a grapple in order to break up the typical sword fighting combat with indicator lights... all those goofy indicator lights are reality busting and allow too much room for computer cheating Instead of the big flash of light they ought to Simply have attacks that have momentum behind them (like the hammer or the ax) as "unblockable" and fast attacks like sword and spear should never be "unblockable" however you cant just stand there and block because of grapples, it would be cool if they added a stamina plus "blade integrity" meter to force more realistic tactics! The first and second island were absolute brilliance however I started to see a little more laziness in the third island however the expansion pack sealed the deal on my theory that this game was moving in the wrong direction Too much fantasy not enough hardcore military objectives and a combat system that leaves the door open for computer cheating rather than a nice clean clear cut gameplay where it's obvious what's unblockable because the attacks are slow, sweeping and performed by heavy weapons a sword couldn't block anyway. Loving this game. Just got into act 2 and was looking for mythical armor which showed the icon across water. Headed to Iki island and the armor wasn’t even there. But it was a nice induct (though I went there from the main story) to give more background to Jin’s past as he was a mystery. Kinda a glad I accidentally went before delving more into the main story. Only to fill certain plot holes. Like the times yuna saved jin or when she stole the mongols seize weapons and what she was doing while jin was locked up during the months he spent as a captive in castle shimura. Also it would explain her background too she's more than a thief. I think she was an assassin. She was the one who taught jin the way of the ghost if you really think about it. Her combat style should be similar to our characters in mp. She'd be an stealthy type which mean our equipment would be fairly weak compare to jin. So no room for errors. It would be cool if yuna partnered up with ishikawa norio and masako when she was tracking the khan. They'd would help her because of jin.
