It's just like the kind of thing that happens with a lot of people that sell their successful businesses that get depressed and stuff because they gave up something that gave their life a lot of fulfillment. I'm a father and I definitely would understand more if they were babies but they're right in the middle of their kid years and they have school and friends and as they get older they'll likely spend less time with him especially in teenage years and the resort especially would've been a great thing for everyone together. Good jobs for the kids as they get older and a good continued family business. Obviously none of us are him so can't know how he's really thinking. It could just not be as fulfilling as we think, he might be thinking about all that, could be a midlife crisis for all we know. But I do think even if everything goes as planned he he'll regret at least cutting everything off, especially if the resort sells as it'll likely just be torn down. The most likely buyers would be big businesses who come in and tear everything down to make it as profitable as possible, apartments, or one of those big housing developer.
