I tried going to college for hardware engineering from 02-03 but the classes quickly became overwhelming for me. The curriculum felt so accelerated that it wasn't long before I fell too far behind and ended up quitting. But the subject has always interested me. I'm now hoping to start a side hustle of repairing and flipping consoles.
