My daughters have won people's choice numerous times so I know how important this one is. My daughter who is turning 16 has a very similar experience to you. She was asked to be miss Washington Jr Teen, so that she can compete in Miss America's Jr. Teen in October. They were seeking out someo e with experience who had done pageants in the past. Sammy met the director when she went to a youth group at a church she normally doesn't attend. The youth leader was talking about doing pageants in the past and Sam spoke up and said she had done some as well. Later that night the Youth leader came up to Sam and said she wanted her to be in the national pageant. We were leaning towards staying out of pageants in the future because it didn't always yoke up to who she is. But the person who asked her to compete said they liked that she was a strong Christian and she would stay firm in her beliefs and never sway in her questions and hopes that she wins based On being true to herself and that she was created for such a time as this. I will have her watch your video and follow your journey so she can be inspired by you. It's not easy to go in to this world and be a light for Christ.
