Looking at the shape of Goldbach's count, is it useful to look at the "envelope" (at least on the lower bound?) and show that the "shape" of that envelope falls within (above) a monotonic increasing function that goes to infinity no matter how slowly? Would that not then show there cannot be a "monster" number lurking out there that collapses the conjecture? As you can tell I am not very "mathy" so at best this is just a random $0.05 worth of random morning coffee thought :) Love this vid and channel btw.

I have watched two minutes of this so sorry if my question was answered (my question is towards the end but you need context), but i would like to say that im pretty sure it wouldnt be possible to prove it, and only possible to disprove it since it says every, and there are an unlimited amount of even numbers. If it was true it wouldnt be possible to check every number because every time you get to the last even number there are still an infinite amount ahead of you. If its false it is possible to disprove it, you would just need to find the exception to the rule. So arent they wasting their time trying to prove it? wouldnt it be better to try and disprove it, and if you cant say that it is probable that the statement is true

I'd like to propose a weaker variant of the Goldbach Conjecture: g(n) > 1 for all even n>1000 where g(n) refers to Goldbach pairs for even integer n In simpler terms. For any even integer above 1000, there must always be more than one Goldbach pair that exists! Let me know if anyone proves/disproves it! Good luck have fun :D

Please tell me if this has any standing... Are there any characteristics that stand out for the even numbers that are 1 or 3 below a prime number on the Goldbach Conjecture graph? Just me wondering if there would be a way to utilize this pattern to identify higher prime numbers... Sorry. Just me brainstorming without enough info to answer my question...

How is Goldbach conjecture related to Riemann hypothesis? You just throw things in your words without showing the connection being true or not? For example, You say this mathematitian showed that 2x2 is 4, assuming the Riemann hypothesis is true. But you don't say how 2x2=4 is related to Riemann hypothesis that the non-trivial zeros of the zeta function are on the critical line being true or not. How is groin related to eyebrow!

I didn’t really understand anything in this video but I loved it so much I've been thinking about it for days. It feels like an experience not knowing something and seeing how someone else came to the answer, if that makes sense. That's such a rare feeling I only really get here because most maths content either tells you the answer or makes you feel stupid for not already knowing it. This felt like being handed a mystery.
