Falling for Incogni? They submit a request for data removal and that's all it is – a request. Most data brokers are under no legal obligation to remove your data. If you get your data removed from one database, it doesn't mean the companies cannot buy the exact same data from another source who didn't remove your data. Or they can just lay low and not use your data for a period of time and then start again. Additionally, don't you need to actually give Incogni your information for it to check for it in the first place? Meaning it might give the data brokers even more of your information whist "kindly asking them to remove it". If I am not mistaken, it isn't uncommon either that data removal companies are own by data broker companies. You're just paying for not wanting to waste your time to submit manual requests which they're under no obligation to comply with. Money down the drain, in my opinion.

3:11 this is incorrect it's proportional to the force of the weight divided by the spring constant stiffness k. If I modify k, then x changes. So the series/parallel is irrelevant, that is just changing weight distribution. I can modify k to get whatever displacement I want and achieve the same outcome. Very cool, but ultimately this is more optical illusion than anything else.

This is just a regular old run of the mill switch with extra parts to make it a gimmick. The main center "spring" is just a switch that changes state when pulled far enough apart, everything else is just there to make it a gimmick. Any good engineer in the 60's would have taken one look at this and given you 200 different ways of changing spring rate through 1 single range of motion. This should be in a magic shop and not a laboratory, this is the perfect example of how far we have gotten away from mechanical engineering in favor of electrical/mechanical engineering, e/m engineering is a electrical PLC telling a mechanical device to do one thing based on an electrical program where back in the 60's EVERYTHING was mechanicaly based with the bare minimum of electrical only used where it absolutely needed to be like motors and lights, this is blowing people's minds today because we as a society have literally forgotten how mechanical systems can work together. This is simply a mechanism that changes state and thus spring rate when pulled from the same axis. The figure "8" in the force diagram is only there because of the extra pieces involved, theoretically anything can be designed to give you whatever force diagram pattern you are looking for so there is nothing special about this. The main issue with this type of mechanism and what makes it a gimmick is that it's very unpredictable, the reason there are green dots in the force diagram is because of how unpredictable it is in that particular mechanical state which makes it completely useless for anything that would need to be in a controllable state.

I used to live and commute by bike in Portland, OR. I’d see this phenomenon almost everyday as rush hour traffic would spill onto the designated bicycle paths next to the main thoroughfares. Then the drivers would get angry with cyclists for being on the bike streets too!

6:30 & 10:00 ah yes, the fact that all Americans hate traffic but refuse to make walking, cycling, or public transit better because they think it would rob them of being able to get around as fast, when in reality, the more people not in cars the less traffic there is even if there's 1/2 as many lanes for cars, thus speeding up your own journey. This is what I like to call, abusive car addicted culture. Ps 10:40 and the highways are like the strings, unless you have everyone for your city driving from out of town to get there like Texas and you just need one more lane bro 17 lanes and still stop and go traffic. An hour to travel 7 miles while living in the city on a bike you could get 7 miles in under 30 miles
