The reservoir did collect water likely from the spinning drum. The minimal vacuum is likely from the exhaust fan. But yes it’s just an expensive hair dryer with a tumble dry drum. It was a noisy fan sound when operating. It wasn't really practical because it held so little laundry. It did dry and was nice to look at but again it wasn't practical for me to use for just a few items for a $600 dryer that held much of nothing. 1 pair of jeans .>>
