So it sounds like the effect would be particularly like the moon with lifting objects, but since our overall gravity I harsher, we don’t crash into the earth like we would on the moon. We still weigh the same but stopping our motion would be harder on the moon essentially accordioning us if we jumped and Lehigh and landed. Why the moon landing never happened…

They all jump to the same height because they all had to navigate the same obstacles (fences, walls, shrubberys, etc) to evade predators. If they failed to evade a predator, they didn't go home at the end of the day and make whoopee (and kids).
