How do I make myself believe in God's divinity? I feel like I believe in him or just did not accept apostasy but now I can trust what is said for now. I used to have the faith where it changed my life, KNOWING who God is. Instead of believing he exists and is possible. I don't feel I am not being reverent to God I just feel like ive forgotten him and now am missing what to really believe about him, but I keep thinking that I dont believe because of it. I am not sure if this is my repentance calling because ive been in a crisis of faith trying to figure out if I believed or not while not accepting apostasy or indifference. I keep self condemning myself and not believing that I have the capacity to believe or even change. But everytime I imagine God being this divine being I start realizing how I just did not see one. I could not see the beauty of life, I could not see how precious it was, I actually felt spiritually disconnected from everything and existence felt so overwhelming that I just became indifferent for a while. Like I couldnt bear existence, now I feel that I am not believing the right things about God and doubting that I even had faith during my crisis that led me here. I just want to know if this is God telling me this is what I need to believe about God, or rather this is the God I am trying to believe in but cant. I have a journal documenting my mental health struggles and stuff so I can check it out for yall for explanation. I talked online to other believers who shared this mutual faith but for me it was like misplaced and neutral faith. I just sorta refrain from believing even when I literally was seeking to believe because its like I just think that because of my current faith, if I taken accountability for it I would be punished, or it wouldnt be evident, I am not confident in my faith because I dont see change and I think thats a problem. I dont see MUCH change. But again, more explanation and context. Like a big lot.

I think some aspects of Buddhism are very beneficial to us and not at all against Christianity, because they focus rather on the mental aspect itself. Like they teach to not identify yourself with your body and that the I is not existing as an exclusive thing but that we are coming from the same source and place. Which i think Christianity would support. Your body is just temporary and even your "I" is constantly changing based on experiences and so forth. Also it teaches to control emotions and rather observe why you have them in the first place. So it's definitely supplementary when it comes to actually evolve your own character for the better

The Bad News- You are naturally a born sinner and have broken at least one of the law (10 commandments) at least once in your life (Example: a lie) (James 2-10 says if you break one of these laws, its the same as breaking them all), so because of this you're on your way to hell already, everyone is (Romans 3-23) The Gospel (Good News): JESUS, Who is GOD in the flesh, came into the world and died for us, to free us from the curse of the law (10 commandments) and ressurected on the third day so that whosoever BELIEVES in HIM will not perish but have everlasting life! GOD said this! GOD cannot lie (Titus 1-2, Hebrews 6-18) we can lie because we are sinners. JESUS saved us already (Colossians 2-14) Just BELIEVE and TRUST in HIM! HIM ALONE, anyone who gives you another Gospel, whether an angel or one of us, let him be accursed, like it says in (Galatians 1 6-9) JESUS ALONE! Not religion, Trust in HIM and you will receive the GIFT of THE HOLY SPIRIT. GOD HIMSELF! Repent ye and BELIEVE the GOSPEL (Mark 1-15). AMEN!AMEN!AMEN!!!

A person being a believer has nothing to do with the labeling of being a “Christian”. Jesus was NOT a Christian. We’re placing our belief and faith in labeling and not Christ. I can’t speak for all, but I’m sure some people remove the label because of how “Christian’s” are portrayed and/or portray themselves in this world. Christianity is not showing Jesus in this world. Instead it’s showing it’s personal agendas and that’s the issue. Being a believer in Jesus is not based on the label of Christianity, rather it is based on the belief and acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior. We gotta kill the “label theology” and ask if people believe in Jesus and Him crucified. If not, share the gospel of Jesus and His love and let God do the rest. Our job isn’t to save anyone, for we can’t save ourselves. Our job is to “love another so that the world may know your mines.” John 13 .

This argument is just bogus. He doesn't know the reason behind every person leaving christianity for Buddhism. There's a whole host of reasons why people do this. Maybe instead of dictating to them why they left, you can simply ask. Telling people why they left without asking them, will only give them yet another reason to reject the christian faith. The truth is, most christians do not have an argument against their actual reasons and so a reason is dictated to them.

Crikey!!!! //The issue isn't Buddhism. She's not a Buddhist now because she thinks it's true. You're a Buddhist now because you want to say you are spiritual and not have any moral accountability." - to a former Christian who is now "spiritual", unless you want to find out the truth. The truth may well be that she is a Buddhist because it now makes more sense to her. And she may well tell you that she does actually maintain moral accountability. OTOH if you wish to maintain your sense of Christian superiority, then think this way, and if needed, say it to her or to anyone else who is an ex Christian and who now declares themselves to be spiritual. I just hope the fellow saying:- "Uh uh. Uh uh. Right. Hmm." - in the background does not take Frank's advice. If he tries it on an ex Christian he may well find himself being embarrassed for displaying a lot of ignorance. Best to ask a person "Why are you a Buddhist?". "Why did you leave the faith?". "What do you mean by 'spiritual'?". "Do you think you retain moral accountability?". ^^ That way you learn from other people as opposed to keeping yourself in ignorance by deluding yourself as to their actual motives. I understand that the bible informs Christians that they are wiser than anyone else. But they are not really.

What do you mean by "become a Christian"? If you mean that I would believe the bible, then yes. If you could prove it was true I would believe it. The issue isn't that people don't want to be held accountable. The issue is that the bible is quite clearly false. And that we have no evidence for the existence of any gods.

The question is not included in this clip, but the answer is terribly arrogant and disingenuous. Dr. Turek presumes to know the heart of the person in question, and that is something he can't know, and something he shouldn't pretend to know. Moreover, if we assume the type of Buddhism here is one of the mainstream denominations, then it will have its own morality, and the person in question will believe to be "accountable" within that framework. That means that Dr. Turek's objection, isn't true even if he could know the heart of the person in question. Finally, given that we are talking about belief in religious dogmatic ideologies, it is incomprehensible that Dr. Turek assumes that the person in question has chosen her religion because she "wants" something. That is not how religious beliefs work. You can't choose to believe something just because you want it; that is absurd. I can't choose not to believe in gravity because I want to fly, and Dr. Turek can't choose to not believe in Jesus because he wants to do whatever sin lights his fire. I would also add that this type of answer is very bad advice for people who want to know how to handle family members or friends who have lost their faith. This attitude will inevitably lead to more tension and more distance in their personal relationship. Just imagine your friend telling you that you just became a Christian because you don't want to take personal responsibility for your deeds anymore.

( According to the Quran Christians and Jews worship TRUE God ) (Quran 3:113-114) '' Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book (ie Christians and Jews ) are a portion that stand (For the right) They rehearse the Signs of God all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration. They believe in God and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous.'' Note: According to the Quran that Jesus is not God nevertheless Christians still worship one TRUE God. And God will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, God is Powerful and Exalted in Might. Note: Why did Allah protected Churches and Synagogues if they worship false Allah ? Explain to me why does Prophet's mother DESERVED Hellfire? she died BEFORE her son's Prophet-hood. I am 100% SURE if Prophet's mother lives to see her son Prophet-hood she would have accepted Islam. Your mother will enter Heaven and your Prophet's mother will enter HellFire. My final conclusion: The '' BASIC '' message of God to the human is that '' YOU '' believe in God and be kind to other human beings / ANIMALS and in the RETURNED God will reward you with a new life in Paradise. * The Quran ONLY guides you how to become a good human being "Nothing Else". * You are a good human being or a bad human being that is YOUR choice. * No one can force you to become a good human being. * You MUST work HARD to become a good human being. * Why should ''YOU'' do good deeds and avoid bad deeds? * Do Good - it's for You. Do Bad - It's against you. * '' YOUR'' life is a TEST from God that you will choose to do either Good or Bad. * Find the excuse to help others and forgive others NOT the other way around. * '' YOUR '' final destination is either Hell or Heaven. * So work HARD toward choice of YOUR destination. Quran 17:7 " If you do good, you will do so for your own good. And if you do evil, it will be to your own loss." b
