The black hole at the center of the galaxy has drawn so many stars into a tighter orbit around it that a large portion of the gas and stars in the center are arranged around the black hole—something that is actually visible in any image of our galaxy.

Black hole is the one keeping galaxies planets in shape and its swallowing everything slowly super massive blackholes like tons used to be stable galaxies like ours million of years after eating most of the matter orbiting it,it became a super massive bhas we know it today

The speculation about Good goes on since thousands of years. The speculation about Dark Matter goes on since 90 years. To proof the nonexistence of a fiction was not easy. Until the design of space telescope Euclid came up. It did not proof the nonexistence of good, but of Dark Matter. Google: zenodo 19078581

Hey!I'm a kid here but I'm interested in astrology and I have an idea they are doing it in June and other months but I think Libra should do it in January since it's the month which the earth rotates around the sun fastest and maybe it could hold more dark matter but this is just a theory really wanted to share this

It is a sobering realization that dark matter may never be directly detected, that it may be part of a much more complex, unseen "dark" version of the standard model

<<@fumbduck2720

Maybe time isnt relative at extreme situations. Maybe its the difference in time. The galaxies go faster on the outside because their time is faster. So the center is going slower than it actually appears to be. Gravity cause time to travel more slowly..

<<@sahlibessam7925

I always think that the reason the stars doesn’t get flung off into space is because space time is moving towards the black hole in the centre of the galaxy, like a carpet being pulled towards the centre keeping the extra speed kinda irrelevant because the whole canvas is moving

Researchers stating Dark Matter as a fact before we know - is that how science is done now? It is! We have zero point singularities as evidence. Many take Inflation as a fact blah blah blah, but the CMB is how it should look when things 'settle out' normally / naturally - it's not really 'amazing', just how such things work. Everything didn't need to be 'in contact' and then 'inflated'. Saying that isn't exciting, though, and 'exciting' gets noticed and funded.

The search for dark matter is funny to me. Since when does science find what they’re looking for? Discovery like this is usually by chance. If it exists someone probably will find it by doing some crazy experiment for some completely other reason
