Hey Thunderfoot, I'm trying to disassemble one of these to fix a "CLOSE DOOR" problem. How did you separate the outer shell from the internals? I've been unable to separate them even after locating all the snap retainers. Any help is appreciated! 🙏🏻

At 5:50 the Moron [whoops, typo: Morus] appears to be venting its extracted moist vapour backwards onto the 'control' T-shirts. 🤔 So the control T-shirts are having to lose a lot more moisture than those in the tumble dryer...

This is how you knew the dryer was a scam. All you needed to dry the clothes was the vacuum. second they said you needed heat; you knew it was fake.

Well, to sterilize the UV would have to be in the "UVC" classification, I would think and looking at UV water purification systems these things are long mercury vapour "fluorescent" style tubes inside a long slender pipe. The kind of thing that Big Clive has covered due to events that were held in Hong Kong in recent time(s). I don't think there are LEDs that produce UVC, but I could be wrong.

<<@TheStigma
says :
The plastic is usually ABS in outer shells of appliances like these, not PE. Mainly I think due to ABS being much easier to injection mold with high accuracy (PE warps and shrinks more while cooling) + you can get clean "polished" looking surfaces straight from the mold. The plastic condenser is actually not as stupid as it may initially seem. They are used in a lot of rotary dessicant dehumidifiers that are quite effective in condensing the water (from experience with several models). Metal would obviously give far better heat exchange, but at least in the dehumidifiers design I guess that this isn't a bottleneck and thus it's good enough anyway. Of course in those machines you have the dessicant rotor driving most of that function to feed really wet air into the condenser - which this doesn't seem to have. Because this just uses hot air and has no way to force the absorption or release of moisture that's probably why the condenser tray will be empty most of the time, unless maybe if the clothes are sopping wet.

You're missing the point here this is the future this is one step to what's next just look at the old designs, sure does not perform as expected but it is a step in the right direction as far as but it is supposed to do 🤦 I wonder if they made them any better this is a year old?
>>
<<@veganbutcherhackepeter
says :
I noticed that the clothes on the line in that test were sitting right behind the air outlet of the 'super drier', meaning that they were basically sitting in 100% humidity saturated air, slowing the drying time down and giving the line a disadvantage. Otherwise the line would have performed better, no doubt. 😁

They played a trick with the wording infrared heating system well a heating element like in nichrome wire gives off infrared as it heats up to its glowing point so they can say infrared rather than just a metal wire heating up lol I have a really nice beam profiler around here for melles griot inc. I can't remember if they made it or they just gave it to me it might have been made by a different company like Spectra physics it's been a while since I've pulled it out of mothballs but I would love to go over this thing. It was mainly used for beam profiling for lasers but it also had a function to measure any light source and print out a profile
>>
<<@BrianS1981
says :
I'm guessing the hot-gluing of the wires is part of their strategy to make it harder to fix by a repairperson.
>>
<<@gauloiseguy

I would have figured they'd use a blue LED as it at least pushes out a minute amount of energy in the upper UV range. Ah well, the guy probably figured he might as well make it a total scam not even trying to put in a poor excuse. How is this legal? Advertisement wise. Edit: mystery solved later in the video.

Why would that thing blow air into itself? Isn't it meant to be at low pressure inside there to lower the boiling point? Isn't that the idea of infrared lights being used, the low density air having poor heat capacity? Weird.

Now the Federal Fraud judge will have exhibit A, Thunderf00t's experimental video debunking number one, there is questionable UV light sterilization, and number two the dryer is no faster than air drying at high capacity, and number three by inference that there is no vacuum drying as there's no condensation of water. This a complete and total fraud, and the company needs to give 100% of all money received back to all investors. QED Of course that's their out, because they're investors they're risking their money. On the other hand, Fraud is a crime.
