She was a flight attendant on private jets and told me the most amazing story of how an investment banker from New England flew his GF to the Seychelle Islands on a private jet over Christmas and how much it cost him. It was a great story and I retold it often. Twenty years later I am buying a washer and dryer set on Facebook Marketplace and I realize after 2 minutes of small talk the woman in front of me is indeed the very same woman. After an excited, 'I know you!' I retold her the very same story she told me 20 years earlier verbatim. She was simply stunned and TBH a little freaked out how this seemingly minor long-forgotten 15 minute throw-away chance meeting over a cigarette 2 decades previous had taken on a life of its own without her knowledge, only to have it presented back to her by way of a random stranger showing up at her front door to buy a washer and dryer. My takeaway was that even in seemingly minor interactions we have far more impact on those around us than we realize.>> <<@nunyabidness117 says : I can connect to Pete Rose in 2 hops and from him to thousands.>> <<@nunyabidness117 says : Most people's friends have more friends than they do.
