I'm from a church who's foundations were build on men only leaders. Many persons are slowly leaving this belief behind, but as with all good things, there are still people who believe that women should not be allowed to proclaim the word of God in a sermon. I am one of them who believe that God uses anyone at anytime for His purpose. Man, woman, boy or girl. Yesterday I was allowed by two leaders from our church to give the word on a mission's trip in the country. I cannot adequately describe the word that was proclaimed there! It was evident to me and others that I was not the one who was in control. God was literally speaking through His people through me and I feel so honoured to be His vessel. I am aware that if some persons from my church knows of this then there may be an uproar. But I know in my heart that I am just doing what God wants me to do. Your words are like a confirmation from God that I should be still because He has called me despite what anyone may say. That I did nothing wrong, rather, I'm doing His will.
