The issue is the voters, always has been, always will be. There are absolutely people that could be trusted to hold to a moral framework, to not be for sale, and do the right thing, but the citizens don't vote for those people. The citizenry spends their time watching the idiot box, scrolling social media, and letting emotion rule their lives, rather than doing their due diligence on researching the candidates up for vote. This same thing goes for their stance on issues: feelings over facts. You want to know why government sucks? Look in the mirror.>>
