He failed to answer trustfully how does blades and vanes of the turbine survive those high temperatures... and the answer is a ceramic coating applied on those blades and vanes of the turbine. That coating is applied by a process involving EB-PVD (Electron Beam-Physical Vapor Deposition) Coaters likes the ones used at Chromalloy NY where I was the Production Supervisor and Electronics Technical Controller for 7 years. The metal is atomically bonded with layers of ceramic, allowing it to survive the high temperatures of the engine.
