I also realized I'm a user who just doesn't use the dislike button unless I deem it shockingly dislikable, which I'm always watching videos I want/need to watch anyways. I have a theory of 1% or less idiots use the dislike button--and if way higher, then it must be true that the video is majority dislikable--ok, and if it relates to you, figure it out what it means to you.
