To all the people amazed at this. The guy built a transmission out of castor wheels. Its not magic is basic physics. The big wheel is getting the force and transferring the energy to the smaller wheels. The big wheel moves more area at the same speed than the smaller ones. The exact same concept as a bike transmission. Yall are actually dumb

Everything does this. Just like a rollercoaster's last cart, everything is pulled with atomic bonds that are elastic in nature. Moving ANYTHING causes the far side to move faster than the moving side (one you're moving) slide a pencil across the table. The eraser travelled faster, because the atomic bonds, rubber-banded it into more acceleration. The matter left behind has to accelerate faster to keep up. Best example: a rubber band releasing

The boards' motion is negative relative to the wheel while the boards' motion relative to you is unaffected by the wheel except to eliminate the sliding friction between the board and the floor. This is the function of the wheel. That would be true if the wheel assembly simply acted as a wheelbarrow or caster for the board. The only advantage of this assembly would be in feeding-out new wheel assemblies as you feed-out more board.

Please re-do this experiment with the cart going directly up-wind! It will work , you know, if you capture the energy of the head-on wind with an appropriately pitched wind-milling propeller and use that energy to provide ground-based traction through to driving wheels via some appropriate gearing. But here is the kicker: Now turn off the wind. In the absence of any other source of propelling energy your cart will stop! In your downwind scenario, your cart would slow-down to just match the downwind speed (minus a small amount to account for frictional losses). I like your show because your attempts are always honest. Please re-think this experiment. Your current explanation, I feel, is incomplete!

Wait, since the big and small rollers are of different radius but connected to each other, they must be moving with different speeds. So whatever rpm the smaller roller is moving at, the big roller would be moving a bit slower. And since all the casing is moving at a constant speed, this must create a sliding motion between the big roller and the wood but it doesn't seem to be the case. Is it because the wood is moving too? I'm just unable to wrap my brain around this. Is there a specific radius ratio between both rollers to achieve this motion?
