While I personally haven't seen much of her work, this video has quickly changed my mind. May Betty White rest in peace.>> <<@kavinaderrow3269 says : Even now, there are re-runs of the Password series on channels that specialize in old gameshows.>> <<@ejb992 says : Betty White and Robin Williams are the only two "celebrity" deaths that brought about sadness. Two very different people yet both gifts to humanity if you ask me.>> <<@jamesmcpherson1590 says : She was only 18 days from her 100th birthday when she passed away; not months away as said at 18:09>> <<@briandoss9232 says : I remember the first time I saw her. She was Kitty's mom on That 70s show.>> <<@DrDolan2000 says : Rest in peace... "grandma">> <<@YuriNikolajavič says : She is older than sliced bread is not a joke but a true fact. The more you know.>> <<@moniquethomas7601 says : Incredibly, Arthur Duncan just passed away on Jan. 4th, 2023, at the age of 97!>> <<@upintheairstudio says : She was great in Lake Placid.>> <<@1987MartinT says : We had her for nearly 100 years. And it still feels like we lost her too soon.>> <<@bardo677 says : 99 goes to 18 which goes back to 9>> <<@bardo677 says : The Goat batter might of been Bettys>> <<@Topgun-ny3he says : She wasn't "months away" from her 100th birthday. It was only 17 days.😭😥>> <<@Angel_1394 says : She was truly amazing and beautiful. She did so much to move Hollywood and even the world forward. I'm glad she choose to chase the dream. The world wouldn't be the same if not for her>> <<@leeroyc4148 says : I remember sitting at school eating lunch and I said to my mate " Want to hangout tonight" His exact words "Can't Golden Girls is on" Being a 10yo at the time, I laughed. That night I watched Golden Girls and pissed myself. Didn't miss an episode from then. My favourite character, Betty White.>> <<@michaelkantner6420 says : The BEST comedic actress that I have ever seen. I loved her in Golden Girls! She had a natural wit and such a genuine kindness that everybody loved. You are sorely missed Betty, thank you for being a friend! RIP!>> <<@wendywarrior2264 says : She was on SNL a few years back on Mothers Day Weekend. One of the funniest shows they ever did after Gilda, Lorraine, Jane and the Not Ready For Prime Time Players! Hilarious!>> <<@VinnyS9143101982 says : She auditioned for television after high school YET most people didn't have television until right after WWII>> <<@BillyBob-ft8ch says : That 70’s show. She was Eric’s grandmother.>> <<@scottrjmatmsncom says : Thank You Betty.>> <<@BaldingClamydia says : Love this woman so much <3 like everyone else I have so many good memories of watching her stuff with loved ones. Just a heads up, since the video didn't mention it, she was in two musical performances that were amazing! One is her presenting the AFI award to Morgan Freeman, and the other is a song called "I'm still hot" or something like that. Edit: Oh! There was also a song for Lifeline something or other. I remember thinking it's hilarious, but all I remember about it is her on a phone>> <<@sailorjerry3720 says : Beautiful tribute!>> <<@pamelamays4186 says : Betty White was a Golden Girl!>> <<@ericthompson3982 says : Sassy, sexy, smart, and morally awesome. Betty, we didn't deserve you, but thanks for hanging out with us anyway.>> <<@BlameBarky says : Thanks for this, Simon and team. It really turned the feels up to 11. Gone too soon... <3 Betty>> <<@th3gvt3keep3r4 says : I miss her so much.>> <<@cassandraralph5906 says : What a busy woman Betty White was!!! Most likely the reason she lived to almost 100 years!!! 💯>> <<@Hamzakhan-dt3gv says : Nice video>> <<@powderstone8187 says : I like these nice biographies of people that did not commit murder or smuggle drugs or commit major felonies. They're a nice change of pace.>> <<@MichieHoward says : Addendum...to the script I didn't write lol...Bea and Betty never fought on set or in any work setting had tremendous respect for one another, as heart breaking as it is to think that these women weren't as close in real life as they were in character does not mean they hated each other.>> <<@skunkrat01 says : If I only ever have 1/10 the love Betty and Allen had, in my life, I will consider it a life lived full of love>> <<@sjduges67 says : If I remember correctly, she died about three weeks before turning 100, not months before.>> <<@KrisRyanStallard says : She was truly a national treasure.>> <<@deejay4922 says : A very eloquent bio of a very American woman. She is, and forever will be, our National Treasure. 💕💕>> <<@noskillant6168 says : I was born in 96, I still remember The Golden Girl reruns popping up in the early 00s' and I couldnt help but laugh at this old lady, she was truly special.>> <<@MMooKow says : Halfway through todays video" "And now todays video" lol>> <<@gortbot7748 says : Remember when Betty White fed her husband to the alligator in 'Lake Placid'? It's a mainstay in our family. She was a great Lady.>> <<@darcigarner4581 says : What a beautiful tribute. Thank you ❤️>> <<@MissMentats says : Wait what? She died??>> <<@jessadam9784 says : The only thing I wish was different in this video is that Betty White was Not an animal rights activist, she was an animal advocate and conservationist. She supported zoos in their role in caring for animals, educating about animals and helping conservation efforts. Animal rights activists do Not support conservation are money driven but never work to secure a better future for wildlife on this planet. ARAs are more often anti-zoo or anti any animal in human care including dogs and cats as pets. The actions of extremist ARA groups make it important to point out Betty was not one of them.>> <<@aladam9691 says : You are wrong to say Betty White was an animal rights activist. Betty White was an Animal Conservationist. She said many times she would have been a zookeeper if she could have and she made movies to support her love of animals. She loved zoos and aquariums, supported the LA Zoo, she was a true friend to animals.>> <<@amyevelynjoy says : Well done, Simon!! What a wonderful way to honor & praise this icon!!>> <<@ADGreen-es6hm says : There will never be a Betty White , and there will never be another Beatles .>> <<@TonyFromChicago_ says : Legend has it, if she out lived the queen. She'd got the spot.>> <<@rebasack21 says : Betty White was a shining example of what the best of humanity can be. She remains the second ever celebrity i have ever grieved for and probably will continue to miss for the rest of my life. For anyone wondering the only other celebrity i have ever grieved for is Robin Williams. Both these bright souls brought smiles and laughs to me when i was in some really dark places. If there is somehow anything beyond this life they both deserve the best it has to offer.>> <<@JenFoxworth says : When I was a kid, I barely remember it, but I remember a few times I got excited to go to the dentist because he had a tv hooked up in the crook of the ceiling/wall and he'd let me watch golden girls while I was there. Ever since then, loved her. She was in so much, and it's so hard to pick favs, but I think when she was in Lake Placid was one of my favs.>>
