The paneling of this manga was very basic, but the background art is great, which was a lot like the key plot point at the start of that manga. But most of all, seeing Pewds just trying to follow his heart's desire even if it could end up a failure and embarassment really reminded of the banger quote from Monochrome no Futari as the main character picked up the pen again: "The boy whose mother passed... became the man who protected his family. But in the spring of his 24th year... rather than doing what he loved... he lived as a man who did what he had to. After nine years... The man... became a boy again." It's a lot easier to fix mistakes. Mangakas can turn out art so much faster once they swap to digital. I know a lot of people say it's "not as pure" or whatever, but you're still drawing everything. It was way harder than you’d think. It requires a lot of endurance and perseverance because storytelling takes a while. It is a very rewarding experience when you hit your “flow states” and the story takes shape and comes to life. I’m excited for Felix to achieve so many goals. Edit: Props to Felix not going digital.
