i am building an underwater bridge from china to US. where vehicles will be put on anchored floatation devices and basically be pushed to their destination by wave energy. reaching speeds upwards of 100 km/hr in certain areas under certain conditions. it will reverse climate change in 20 years. this is in the ideation stage. i am looking for investors so i can live comfortably while learning animation, so i can create classy animations. i am like elon. i like to do everything myself. oh did i mention, we will be ready in 2025.

It's the same thing with electric cars they do nothing for the environment the amount of energy it takes to mine the minerals for the batteries the energy to create the car you've got to use energy to charge the car then you've got to use more energy to dispose of the toxins when the batteries run out of life they do absolutely nothing for the environment

I did an essay back in jr high on carbon capture as a possible solution to greenhouse gases. Even as a 12 year old kid I could tell that it wasn't feasible. I was given a D+ for going against the narrative that was being pushed by my school. This was during earth day week and I was supposed to write about how awesome carbon capture was. But I couldn't, it just wasn't there. And even 30 years later the technology still isn't viable

I'm curious - if a train is going to be running anyway and then they used the regenerative braking as it would be running and breaking anyway so it's "technically" not using more energy to get the brake energy

Mr Thunderf00t, interesting video as usual, but not as usual in that it has left me questioning some of your assumptions. The carbon capture car would probably weigh more than 40 tons in my estimation could it be built but even if it came in at 80 tons, that would not be any big deal on a typical US freight train. These would normally average about 10 to 15,000 tons so adding another 80 tons here and there would not be a big deal. Also, the way they operate at the moment, they don't use regenerative braking as such but use dynamic braking as they call it, regenerative braking being more associated with electric trains which put the energy generated back into the overhead wires or conductor rail in the case of the London Underground. Therefore, as it stands at the moment, usually multiple locomotives will haul the 10,000 tons up a hill and would no doubt take a smidge extra fuel to haul 10,080 tons but they were going to be making that journey and burning the fuel anyway. Once over the brow, they then use their dynamic braking to keep the descending train at a constant slow and safe speed. With the traction motors now acting as generators and producing electrisity which has to go somewhere so is dissipated through resistor grids and lost into the atmosphere. Any thoughts?

One of the most common scifi concepts people try to shill as reality is using something that is not fuel as fuel. Some people just don't understand that certain substances are fuel and everything else isn't. It's not a matter of just looking at it from a different angle. Most substances just can't be used as an energy source.

Surely a GoFundMe success awaits: all they need to do is put a sail on it too, and then use the solar energy to power a fan to fill the sail, then they can not even use the regenerative braking. Make your checks payable to...

Could someone comment on the electric side of f1 cars? Specifically whether they are really just a marketing gimmick or do they really save energy re fossil fuels.? After watching this video i'm beginning to wonder. The batteries add more weight and they are being charged ultimately from the ICE. Also they are removing the mgu-h in 2026 so they are gathering even less energy. Leaving aside the fact that they are trying to move towards green fuels which is a separate discussion, would it be more or less fuel efficient to go back to full ICE and dump the weight of the electric side?
