Fx, you *absolutely should* have mentioned the actual origin of the main clusterfck of Artemis - that the whole mission and orbit structure has been designed around NASAs inadequate new Orion capsule and it's half-assed service module with near zero delta-v. But that said, personally, I am for using a Zubrin style Low Earth Orbit to Moon surface and back cycler for all human surface landings and return. And having no orbiting lunar station or least not making it a required component of the surface operations. And the role for Starship would only be to bring stuff into LEO and letting it proceed on it's own from there in more efficient ways. I would only being entire Startships to the Moon only for one-way cargo-landing and reuse on surface as habitation if that can be made attractive.
