So, for our African leaders, turning their backs on the West would be our greatest mistake ever. Who do we turn to for assistance in the future? China and Russia? Then we make the biggest mistake again. Before we begin to turn away from the West, we must remember that the West did not send us into poverty; it was our leaders who were so greedy that they preferred to keep their pockets and families rich. These are the people we Africans should be angry with, not those who want to repair our relationships. I would rather align with the West than China or Russia. Why? China is currently doing worse than the West did to us. Let me give you an example. China provides Africa with low-interest loans to help build infrastructure. Guess what the loan's terms and conditions are. The terms of the load state that any infrastructure contract can only be awarded to Chinese companies, so they give us money while also taking it from us. Furthermore, the loan terms state that if African countries are unable to repay the loan, the Chinese government will take over our natural resources as their own for 99 years or until the loan is paid back. So our stupid leaders are signing this type of agreement with China because they do not care about us as long as the money ends up in their hands and of their families. Also, Russia's only interest in Africa is to sell us weapons so we can kill each other. Tell me which country has Russia present and is peaceful. Don't let me mention the names of the countries, but use your head. So, as Africans, we must use our intelligence and brains to collaborate because our problem is poor governance and economic mismanagement by our leaders, The West is not our problem, but we must work with them and be smart this time to take advantage of what the West has to offer us as a restart of our relationship. The first thing we must do is ask our leaders, both now and in the past, to return all of the money hidden in overseas banks to Africa to support our economy, and the West is the only allies that can help us do this, not China and Russia.>> <<@shigatsuningen says : I don't think the US came to negotiate but rather dictate the terms of surrender..
