<<@dabombgq says : Boycott Disney! BDS! Moving board game characters>> <<@shadex3736 says : Im surprised that MKBHD didnt wear his shoes>> <<@reeceblythe8467 says : The tech behind this is obviously a secret, but to me, it looks to be one of the most promising, expandable and affordable 360 tredmill concepts I have ever seen! Each 'pixel' would just consist of 2 high end electric motors. If one breaks, I suspect you can just replace it. Unlike others that are just huge single units. Not to mention, movement innertia. With some of the other 360 true tredmills (Not the low friction plate), they have a real problem stopping and starting quickly. They are heavy and while they can get a good speed, they are not very responsive. But a single electric motor at that size would be near instant responsiveness. The software is the magic here, but at least to me, the hardware looks comparatively simple. Impressive innovation.>> <<@AgnisarmanNamboothiri says : What if we can do this in a shoe 👟 3:17>> <<@5M173Y says : the holo tile would be perfect for vrchat>> <<@jonwallace6204 says : I can hate on Disney all I want but as an engineer, the Imagineering is legendary in our field. Boston dynamics be like: we made the most amazing walking system where it adapts to the terrain. Disney: okay, we got that but ours also prioritizes cuteness.>> <<@blocoes2757 says : one thing that would be cool is it to be big enough and stable enough to the point were you can run at almost top speeds>> <<@paulagebhardt6018 says : These would be great for animators! Pop your actor in the suit, set up the cameras, and you'd be able to have much more dynamic movement.>> <<@ImaginationToForm says : I had an idea for VR of a floor with many little lazy susans.>> <<@CH-xe8ud says : Hello, this is Disney.
