This young man said: " millions and millions of christians all have different ideas of what the Bible claims." One big problem with this claim is this young man is assuming these millions and millions of people calling themselves christians are actually that! Direct from God's word tells us that in Acts 11:19-26, " the disciples were first called christians in Antioch." Acts 11:26b. At the time this moniker was (said of the disciples ) it was a derogatory term meant to insult! These disciples..... not just converts, looked and acted so much like Christ Himself that those in Antioch thought them to be " Little Christs " which is what the word means in translation. But we must remember: they had crucified Christ! This was not meant as a term of endearment!
Yet, the vast majority of those, calling themselves christian, ( not Biblical ) are not anything of the sort! For the verse said the disciples were first called christian...... every disciple is a true blood-bought, born-again, child of Jehovah God but not every true blood-bought, born-again, child of Jehovah God is a disciple of Christ Jesus. For those have to be made by other disciples making still more disciples. Luke confirmed by Paul! Luke wrote the gospel of Luke and the book of Acts! Fully 1/3 of the New Testament. And, by the way, to lead just one man to the Lord Jesus Christ and to disciple that same man to maturity in Christ. His name..... Theophilus.
