But. Should you ignore 69? I'd love an episode on that. Isn't it weird how focused people are on it? It's not and never was the main or favorite sex position. Is it possible there's more to it?

In my teenage years, I developed a technique to test if any given number can be divided by a prime. You can think of 2, 7, 23, 137, ... The number 37 is quite interesting, as the recursion involves only three unique steps using my method. While it usually takes six unique steps for common prime numbers. I won't necessarily lay down the whole method here, but the resulting recursive function for 37 is as follow: 1. Multiply the rightmost digit by 26 2. Add the digit as is on its left 3. Continuing another step on the left; add the 3rd number, multiplied by 10 Continue the sum from step 1 with the 4th digit, towards the left, and so on. Let's test the number 6401 (notice all the sums can be divided by 37): 1*26 + 0 + 4*10 + 6*26 = 222 2*26 + 2 + 2*10 = 74 4*26 + 7 = 111 1*26 + 1 + 1*10 = 37 For a total of 4 recursions. Not necessarily the most practical computation, but it turns out correct. You might get stuck in a loop between two multiples of 37 depending on the tested number. Without more thought into the mathematics that hold the function, the particular outcome is currently not determined. You can probably notice different patterns in the steps and their sums. I like to think we can optimize it further from there.

The numbers 3 and 7 are also significant in the Bible as 3 represents the Triune God and 7 the perfection of creation and both numbers are referenced many times throughout the Bible, often representing or symbolising completion.

So tell us and Somome began counting sticks for the very first time in the history of man. How did we come up with the number one if we didn't have 0 first , so 37 is actually 38 on a number line

Interesting how the fine structure constant also contains 37, 1/137.

Why 69 is not random?

Also a reminder that 37 and 73 are ‘sexy’ prime numbers, meaning they’re apart from the next and previous primes by exactly six (or sex in latin). 31,37,43 and 67, 73, 79.

One example of a 37-word scripture from religious texts: "Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." (1 Corinthians 13:8) This passage from the Bible captures the enduring nature of love amidst the transient qualities of prophecies, tongues, and knowledge. And if you notice the Chapter & verse numbers add up to 21. Yet another Significant number again if you multiply 3x7 it again sums up to 21

The numbers 37 and 73 hold significance in various mathematical, religious, and symbolic contexts. In mathematics: 37 is a prime number, divisible only by 1 and itself. It is also a highly significant prime in mathematics due to its occurrence in various mathematical constants and sequences. 73 is also a prime number, and like 37, it holds significance in number theory and mathematic In religious and symbolic contexts: In the King James Version of the Bible, the number 37 doesn't have specific significance, but biblical scholars and enthusiasts have noted occurrences where certain numbers, including multiples of 37, hold symbolic meaning. Some Christian numerologists associate the number 37 with the word "wisdom" and suggest it symbolizes divine wisdom or understanding. The number 73 is significant in religious contexts such as Islam, where it's associated with the 73 sects in Islamic tradition. Symbolically, both numbers may represent completeness or perfection due to their prime nature and unique properties. Overall, while these numbers may not have explicit connections in religious texts, their significance in mathematics and potential symbolic interpretations make them intriguing subjects for exploration across various disciplines

This is so strange. How our brain does ALL this math without us knowing, while when we are conscious Math is suddenly really hard. Also Vodka are usually 37.5% (At least here in Sweden), and a human are usually 37 Degrees Celsius. I will surely look for the number 37 in my environment from now on just for the fun of it, and for Science. Cheers

I have found a new property of 37 (idk maybe it's already discovered but i found it myself randomly) The property is:- if any digit is repeated 3^n times (n is natural number) like 333,888888888,55555....27 times... These numbers all have 37 as a common factor ... Maybe I am wrong btw

Reddit picking 69 is about as Internet as I expect the Internet to Get. I am willing to bet if it was 3 digit numbers only it would be 420. 4 Digits being 6969 and 5 digits being 42069 or 69420

3 and 7 are associated with completeness and holiness throughout Scripture. Not surprising at all we lean into those numbers, as image-bearers of the creator God. God bless those vicious self-righteous scoffer atheists sure to seethe and cope with disparagement, a sure sign of their enmity towards the Lord and evidence of total depravity. -me, a 40-year fool of a former atheist

@goal2004 Says:
When you have several non-random numbers sampling higher than average, and you claim to know that the top 2 numbers aren't random (69 and 42), you can only assume that 37's non-randomness stems from the same cause. It's always been about memes. I don't mean the the modern ones we use today, but the original definition. 69 is a sexual meme, 42 is a literary meme, and 37 is a religious/cross-cultural meme. A week is 7 days long, and trinities are a common theme. It's why 3 and 7 also sampled fairly high on their own, but when you filter it out to numbers above 10 the only other option is 73, which ALSO sampled high.
