Thats why I never bought a PS5. It seemed ridiculous to buy it now for many reasons. It was way to expensive in the start and there mostly werent any good new titles to play anyway.

I probably gonna buy it for the gta 6, even tho it will be 30 fps. Saddest thing for me is that ps2 introduced me to gaming, i have pc which is my main point of gaming. While it can be annoying to upgrade parts or spend money, at least you have new games for pc and you can play online for free. I never fucking understood why would you force ppl to pay to play online?.
I won't buy ps6 if it comes this soon or ps5 pro which i doubt it will be high of an upgrade.
It feel's almost like buying a phone then next month 4 new come up which small upgrades.
An upgrade to a next gen is supposed to be big, not a small mix mash of this and that.

This was the BIGGEST waste of a console generation. The vast majority of the games this gen were remakes, remasters of games from last generation or older. The graphics/fidelity outside of like 3 or 4 entire games that I’ve ever played for PS5 didn’t feel next gen, didn’t wow and amaze.
This didn’t feel like the PS5. More like the PS 4.5. This gen sucked across the board outside of Nintendo still making fun games and rare exceptions like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Elden Ring.

The fact that most new PS5 games are available on the PS4 games like ( hogwart legacy / god of war ragnarok / horizon forbidden west ) made the PS5 looks like just a better version of PS4 that play games slighgly better but not like a new console, it didnt feel like going from PS3 to PS4 it was just like going from PS4 to PS4 pro

I feel like I fell off of gaming at pretty much the perfect time. I stay playing the odd title on the ole Nintendo Switch from time to time and thats it. I dont think you can find a more expensive hobby than gaming, with decidedly less bang for your buck. Im genuinely sympathetic to all the people who spent their hard earned money during a global recession to buy a bit of hardware that could take the edge off and bring them a bit of joy, only to be scammed and short changed left and right by greedy corporations who simply dont care about making a good product.
