Ash Ketchum after getting a Rabbit R1: What pokemon is this ?👻
@snoozecat4389 Says:
This is like making a phone with less feature, which is useless.
@PriyanshuSaxena-ti8ct Says:
I think it need lot's of improvements
@chadgarcia983 Says:
>trusting the Chinese. Don't do it.
@thomastommy9864 Says:
17:51 No, it's not worth taking a gamble on it today. Don't think of what it could be in the future, think of would if the company goes bankrupt next month. Now you're wasted $200. And I would say that is very likely to happen with this company.
@DangerousKaos Says:
I normally don't buy things at the beginning unless it's super awesome. I hate that I have to wait until it's "ready" later like years later. It feels like a pyramid scheme or like a go fund me like "here's your phone (for now) and your features later". Like ordering a burger without the condiments or lettuce and tomato. I was excited for R1, but perhaps another year or two. :(
@spr1t3ly Says:
in fairness, this is very neiche and I feel like would be a great products for certaint people, but I feel like it could work if they make the screen Eink, make it a touch screen, improves some AI stuff and I feel like it would be an Okay product.
@Alguien644 Says:
Idea seems good, but too late to enter the market
@user-th6tc5un1s Says:
Please always just review what it there _right now_, not what could be; no "benefit of the doubt". (Just like the way you recommend making a purchase decision.) Thank you for your reviews!
@kernelpanic5672 Says:
That looks exactly as a Soviet orange medical kit
@EdH447 Says:
So negative recently :( Self destructively countering your fame?
@JeanClaudeJrLefebvreXL Says:
Everything showed here can be done on a smartphone today, what are we doing? 4 hours battery, TFT screen, separate data plan, WTF?
@alisdraws Says:
So what this is is just an interface for an AI? like some kind of several hundred dollar app that you have to carry around and charge every 4 hours? I don't think the public that wants to get rid of having to use smartphones has a lot of overlap with the public that loves to use chat gpt idk
@awless Says:
When I realize this junk has a touch screen it make me really mad
@keithbrown7685 Says:
You see what they're wanting consumers to do, is be beta testers, at the beta testers' own expense. What MKBHD is holding in his hand, is a piss-porr 2005-grade piece of primitive tech. It's a partially made smartphone, minus the phone, minus the smart.

SCAAAAM
@MayaASDDID Says:
Imagine that “tactic” were used in the 80’s, the company would go haywire.
@whatisgosu Says:
Great another python script on top of chatgpt packed in a plastic box :D

@_-0-_0 Says:
No point of this device if it is already in the Android smartphones when you press that and hold the home button already is this feature
@starrynight3087 Says:
wow your English is so good! Usually blacks have very distinguishable accent
@chrischokoe6485 Says:
We don't hear you talk much about Huawei products on your channel
@blackstealth8168 Says:
The space shuttle space suits in International Orange are probably the only thing on par with this orange device.
@imnugget8085 Says:
If the a.i was much smarter and cheaper by just making it a touch screen and MARKET AS A WORKING COMPANION FOR KIDS AND DESK WORKER and when board feed the rabbit by asking questions letting us Name the robot and more colors
@jdoyleweb Says:
Someone else has worked out it's just an Android Device and the OS is just an app. So it could just run on your Android Phone
@aaronwinter1980 Says:
A scam built around AI like we always see with any hyped technology
@juliasutton8634 Says:
damn they reinvented the ipod nano
@MonBerry Says:
This is pure 🗑️
@MartyyHrom Says:
Yeah in my opinion, the touch screen is needed. Also I would put the camera in the middle, as it seems kinda clumsy to have it on the side. It would also be very convenient if they included a volume buttons somewhere around the on/off button.... Wait.... Did I just describe a smartphone???? Oh yeah, seems like a smartphone can do all of the things R1 can do, but better and quicker.
@TwoGamingDudesMovies Says:
I love how tech companies keep coming out with absolutely useless overpriced garbage under the banner of "innovation". Yeah, my phone can do all these things. Why isn't Rabbit just an app or an AI wallet or something useful that isn't asking me to carry around more stuff?
@theamericanfront8726 Says:
the rabbit is ahead of it's time but just not at the point it should be.... all devices start off and this stage and for the next
@edhasingla4069 Says:
wow these people completely ignored even the basics of User experience fundamentals. for example the back button Interaction. As a product designer, this is really sad.
@soumo5550 Says:
Bro casually destroyed another company
@etn422 Says:
Product is literally 5 years late
@intestinomedicino Says:
On the other hand you can't blame all these entrepreneurs tryin to take advantage from all the people asking for ¨AI¨ to be placed next to any new product right now, once you try even the devices and software from big companies most of the time it is just a disappointment from all the things they still can't do. The pressure from everyone is so high that even Apple is trying to jump into this crazy half cooked technology wagon.
@Barbasnoo Says:
I haven't watched the full video yet, so maybe this is touched on, but I feel like all of this could be done right now in an APP.... so WHY is a separate device necessary?
@austinlee5408 Says:
I would almost call this a scam. It is being marketed as a new line of products when in reality this is just an Android phone. The software it is running is literally just an Android app. You can get a $150 smartphone that will be faster, have much better battery life, a usable keyboard and UI, access to the play store, and all the features you would expect from a smartphone. You can replace all the functionality of this device from just using google, google lens, and apps that actually work. If any Android maker made a phone like this and marketed it as a phone, they would get laughed out of business. The only reason people would buy this is because of "AI"
@PokemanOkie Says:
This probably makes a better Tamagotchi.
@LTEKMU2LOUB Says:
Proud of the Rabbit AI team most teams didn't delivery, Imagine the rabbit AI living in your device OS any device is what AI promised, but most of us don't need assistance with simplicities and hard tasks are nearly yimpossible to streamline without life's work. I streamlined a team of assistives rollsheet to simplify a large quantity of os and life tasks which are considered rated G and pleasurable.
@boogywoogy2135 Says:
The google assistant on my Pixel can do everything that thing can do plus more and so far it's never answered or gotten an action request wrong for me. I didn't even buy the phone for the assistant and it's ended up being one of my favorite features and been very useful to me. It can even recognize what song I want or am looking for just from me humming a vague melody LOL
@a-carvalho8751 Says:
This looks like a teenagers science project. No wonder the name of the company...
@alinbuda Says:
You are missing the point, @MKBHD. As with the AI pin, you are not reviewing hardware but killing a point of view, a branch of an idea.
@xxneggalee2785 Says:
My smartphone does the exact same thing
@scoobyblu5815 Says:
Mixomatosis is coming The rabbit is finished
@verticalbay Says:
This is like the AI from Spike Jonze’s movie HER
@THE1vbLLover69_ Says:
The problem with these products is, why would you use this instead of your phone? Everything these AI-focused objects can be done on a phone, want to call? That's what phones are for. Want to take a picture? Phones have been designed to do that for decades. Need to ask a question? Almost all modern phones have, wait for it, assistants is better than an AI because it's already connected to their networks (Think of something like Alexa, Siri and the Google Assisstant). Companies are trying to make things sound cool by adding "AI" onto it when it's A, Uneeded and B, Unnecessary.
@johnh7557 Says:
A product that does nothing. Great bargain.
@isaacfullerton Says:
I need to buy a SIM card for my not phone so that an AI can use an app slower and worse than I could? what an idea
@mollago Says:
Came to comment, saw what I was going to write at the top, liked it, still commented anyway
