But all other videos on YouTube seem to appreciate the sony xperia 1 mark 5. So much hype about its camera. And then MKBHD says it's the worst. Extremes when Compared to other videos. Whom to believe

Using pixel 7A

Though Im a Pixel user myself, I feel like the test might be particularly favourable for it. Pixels are known for their heavy post-processing (sharpening the image with AI, boosting the colors to a certain degree). Nowadays many phones do that, but if you use a pixel phone, you will notice how the AI has a certain color palette and style it uses to improve many of your pictures in the same way. They all start to get this similar pixel-asthetic. While they are great individually, sometimes when I look at my whole gallery, it feels a bit to monotone to me, like if every food dish is made with the same spices. I feel like a camera that captures more varied, true-to-life images might be better for some people, though they would still vote for the pixel in a indvidual 1v1 vote, just because the colors pop out more. Its the whole pepsi-coca cola marketing thing (where coca cola once made a new formula that almost all people voted for in a blind 1v1 test against pepsi, but people hated it when it became available on the market. The formula was sweeter than before, so it was tasty when having a small sip, but it was too sugary to drink a whole can).

It's a 4 months old video, but I want to mention that it might be biased towards pixel phones thanks to their work on getting darker skin tones right, as mentioned in goggle's marketing material. The results could be different with other skin tones. But overall, it's actually a great thing that the pixels have this neat "feature" and do deserve the wins imho

Using pixel 7 🥸

YOOO I MYSELF HAVE AN GOOGLE 7A!
@evrimagaci Says:
Do these translate to videography too or would it require a seperate test?
@dimancor2925 Says:
So basically, go with either Pixel, iPhone or Samsung and you're good.
@arashahsani Says:
The only thing blind in this test are the viewers

the iPhone rocks Honestly

While you see the correlation between image quality and the results, you know that it is a TRUE BLIND TEST. Done in Braille. The photo at 3:35 is very "Neutral" like US is in Ukraine.
@Jamtron88 Says:
Could be cool to see if skintone plays into performance much in the future, would be interesting to see if there's bias in the computational photography algorithms.
@jennythegurl3695 Says:
Thank you for creating this content. I love these videos. I would be interested in the same blind test but for videos 🤔
@arianetrek7049 Says:
Very interesting to watch different outputs, but Sony was wronged on the portrait test. There's no auto-portrait, you should AT LEAST select the telephoto lens by yourself. Else you're simply shooting using the main wide angle camera while others use their telephoto. Anyway good lineup ! Thanks for the hard work.

I've watched this video when it came out and today it was randomly suggested again to me, and gotta appreciate whoever made that thumbnail.. it looks freaking cool.
@rishanborkharbuli Says:
Phone with a good camera, watching 4k videos and abit of gaming like Mobile Legends. What would you recommend?
@pessoaanonima6345 Says:
One of these tests for videos would be really great, to see if iPhones are really that much better in recording as some people say. It would probably be harder and less accurate, but really interesting.
@EsthelsDev-ic2ex Says:

Ive found yhat the asian market smart phones tend to crank the brightness when theres soneone with darker skin tones. Whenevr i take pictures of someone whos african american, like my coworker, it overly brightens the photo. Even when someone has a black shirt it cranks up brightness
@AK-ox3mv Says:
Fun fact : Watch video again and compare the photos quality with high-end camera that recorded video
@AK-ox3mv Says:
Important : For the next year ask about the device they used for watching photos. Because there is less people with high-end screen phones that show colors more realistically. Its better to give more credit to those.
@joynabbegum5631 Says:
Looks like blind test killed iphone with pixel😂
@slv_jonathanc15 Says:
You should also make a "video" competition, not just photo
@ronny6x Says:
Wish Oppo N3 flip and Honor Magic 6 Pro were included in this test. Both take stunning pictures in different ways.
@stonesymmetry Says:
You should’ve done tap to focus because if you were just done that the iPhone would have been pretty high up on the daytime one
@Orca774 Says:
This only tests the main cameras which is not even half the cameras on a smartphone
@yourskoolboy Says:
These blind camera tests are so enjoyable and tells a lot
@user-abood21 Says:
This reflects how amazing the pixel is❤
@valentinaharold1333 Says:
This is crazy because another guy basically said the iPhone 15 pro takes the best photos. I currently have one plus 9 I love but thinking about updating in the future maybe 11 or iPhone
@lubbockgoldhand268 Says:
Hi, would be great to get the ELO Rating for each category for your own inputs, or if not the rating, then at the 3 top ones, so that one can check out ones own best picks. If not right after the test, maybe after closing the pull via Email. If interested...

I recently "visited*" a jail. I wish the main demographic of the jail could watch this man and break out of there mental prison about what it means to be black. There victim complex is sickening. Just be a normal hood person and you can have all the success imaginable

@daweed_la8241 Says:
Only YouTuber I only trust ❤
@Puco4 Says:
I feel there is some "luck" involved in taking the picture, as trying to repeat the same picture with the same phone can have different results. For another time it could probably have more certain results if you increased the statistics with each camera (repeating the same shot with the same camera a few times and use them all for the voting).
@manowerhossain8077 Says:
Its a interesting learning video
@noodlessoul8356 Says:
You didn't include any Huawei?
