The most valuable thing in the world is time, in fact, the only thing in life that you CAN'T get back when you lose it is time, and that's where sexual temptation comes in, it's a waste of time, for two reasons, 1. You're not making any money having or thinking about sex. Thus making sexual temptation a waste of time. Because what are you going to do after you have sex? Ask God to forgive you with this dumb look on your face? And how much money have you missed out on earning while trying to think of a way to get this other person to help satisfy your "urge"? Is he or she paying you? Are they going to bring any kind of wealth or other financially meaningful things into your life? The answer is most likely no. Ultimately making it a waste of time. 2. It's all psychological. No man or woman on this earth has ever has a reproductive body part that looks any different, meaning if you've seen one pair of breasts, one vagina, one butt or one penis, you've seen them all, people just need to calm down for Christ sake🙄

I’m so glad you mentioned your transparency when you asked God to help you with your desires. I have been chaste for 10 years after I was raped by my first boyfriend. My second boyfriend and I had no restraints because I didn’t care; my purity had been taken from me. The third guy I liked used me for 1 night then threw me away like cheap trash! Antidepressants can take away a lot of sexual desire, especially Prozac. It takes about 6 months to clobber your sexual desire entirely.

Amen to this. Lust of the flesh has always been the struggle that comes back to haunt me. I was 29+ years virginal and consecrated myself hard in my 20s. It was easy because I wasn't in a relationships and trained my mind/heart to focus on literally everything else. The sexual desires returned full throttle in my 30s... I actually found a man I enjoyed on a emotional/mental/friendly level. He amis supporting my mission for purity but it is difficult ya'll. Slipped but am returning back. These child bearing years are worst than my teenage years. I've always had a super strong libido. God has really been with me for it to take me 30 years until I've been with a man. If you fall into sin, get back up and restart. Don't let guilt, shame, disappointment keep you away from God's love and presence. Praying for you all.

I love the story about how your husband ran away from you when you were dating - you really were blessed with a godly man!
