I think you underestimate noobie gains. As a beginner you can easily gain 5x per month than what you would as an advanced lifter. Also loosing weight from 20% to 10% can make you look significantly more jacked. So I wouldn't say that Kumail's muscle gain or weight loss is unattainable naturally within a year. (I know nothing about him, just based on the photos and the timeframe) That other guy on the other hand... 8 weeks seems improbable to get that much more jacked. Edit: Derek from More Dates more Plates says Kumails transformation is indicative of steroid use so I guess I'm wrong, but I suppose that's because I was comparing Kumail to 20 year-olds, when he is much older.

I'm a natural body builder and its all true it took me 18 years to put on 60 lbs of muscle you can't do this shit in a year
@beefsupreme67 Says:
normally actors use steroids to look like the character so they get the job the rock has to stay like that all the time because he gets the roles because they want their character to look like the rock
@4foxs8ke Says:
If I need a drug to be me then who am I really? Stay natural, eat meat, excercise and above all be patient and consistent.
@civulaskolowe5393 Says:
It‘s the same for every surgery anyone does , then acts like they achieved the body of their goals by doing sports and eating good nutrition. Thanks for the videos pewds, enjoyed it very much!
@poeticdork6661 Says:
When I want to make an important statement, I'll from now on start by saying, "This guy Noel [insert verb]..." Thanks Pewds.

Had to come back to this video after the stunning relevation of Alex Eubank, an influencer I quite liked when I got into this, come out saying he’s going to be using steroids. It’s quite a shame. At the very least, he was transparent about it, but it’s disappointing that someone who was natty like him has now turned to that path. Especially after criticizing others for using steroids before, including teens, and telling everyone he doesn’t care what people think of his physique when that clearly is not the case. Truly disappointing on every level.
@H3Y0o Says:
Yes, transparency is the key issue here. It's understandable that they have to use steroids to prep themselves within a short span of time for a role, to achieve such physique requires a few years, while it's unfair to them that their timeline requires them to achieve it in less than a year or so. But the biggest problem here is that it made people believe that these are natty and achievable, and that's pretty much how we get fed into body dysmorphia, and sucked into a whirlwind of steroid abuse.
@JarodFarrant Says:
I’m not looking to look like these guys, I am searching to become a healthier & stronger version of myself.
@mle6501 Says:
Or maybe the Rock just puts in the work and the rest of us are jealous because we are too lazy.
@kellysooth602 Says:
Yup, everyone who starts lifting, or has been at it for a few years… they all figure it out. Natural bodies are not what you see in Hollywood. And it’s fine, natural lifting bodies are great, and steroid bodies can be great too. But lies are never ok.
@Dirty_Hamble Says:
Batman is supposed to be an athlete, not a bodybuilder. I don't get why they made him into such a meathead with Batfleck, etc. Even Thor wasn't huge in the comics to begin with. Hemsworth certainly didn't need to go as big as he did. Very strange.
@Test-nj4fx Says:
Why all the cutting in the editing? I had to stop watching because it kept jumping in and out and back-and-forth. Just let the guy sit there and talk.
@bnjmz Says:
Look at the average Olympic gymnast or other athlete who has been training since they were 9 years old. They may get gold medals, but they're still losers. They're not even as jacked as the average influencer or Hollywood actor after 1 year. Obviously, they too need to buy the celebrity fitness plan and stop being lazy.
@alikigozi8339 Says:
I come back to this video every year
@woy8 Says:
Totally agree, very frustrating to see people on instagram comments (under a guy clearly on steroids) claiming they just workout really hard and anyone can do it and if you dont look like that you are lazy (which is prob a 12y old boy in his mothers attic, but still). We need more realistic male body
@EndlessTravels Says:
Something people DO NOT GET is taking roids does not just insta pump someone, you HAVE to put in almost twice as much work to get those gains. If The Rock and these others popped and just sat around making ecuses he'd never be this big... Its not a Quick build fix, its a going past the Z line of normal to animal
@happytotroll Says:
It isnt the work and the hours, it's the chicken, rice, and broccoli. duuuh
@minhja4924 Says:
😂😂😂Yeh all BS! real muscle takes years to grow.
@idontknowwhyihavesubscribers Says:
Getting that jacked is a full-time job, and one of the responsibilities is using steroids, which can obviously f*ck you up in so many ways.
@jimmylight4866 Says:
All these Celebs are juiced. Plus they alter what you see even in the films. Fake CGI abs and airbrushed abs.
@aerobiesizer3968 Says:
Reminder: If someone is selling you the secret to their success, *you are* the secret to their success. Not quite as true with fitness influencers probably but extremely accurate with financial influencers

@syedimranali4429 Says:
Lol This thing is still going on. Thanks for these kind of videos because these videos always remind us about the truth and we don't feel ashamed of having normal bodies.

@pavelkostorek999 Says:
2 truths 1 lie I have the best workout routine. I have the best diet. I don't take steroids.
@danfraser894 Says:
A year is a really long time to transform your body, especially if your nutrition and training is on point for the duration. I think we'd be more surprised to learn who isn't on steroids rather than who is.
@AdrianoAlDente Says:
Dont Talk about Bodybuilding When you not doing that for Years. Baby Dont Cry

Don’t you dare tarnish the reputation of Johnny bravo like that
@shugyosha7924 Says:
Well steroids are illegal right? So the government should decide either we get rid of that law and require transparency, or we investigate and hand out sentences for breaking the law. And society needs to get its head on straight. Public sentiment is overwhelmingly critical of steroid use, yet they idolise people like The Rock and Chris Hemsworth who essentially lie to children or (to those who see through the lies) provide a bad role model of juicing and lying to achieve wealth and fame.
@jadenalmeida8592 Says:
pewdiepie is such an intellignt guy
@adudeinaplace7174 Says:
I find myself coming back to this video every so often. Its so easy to forget how potent steriods are, even knowing theyre extremely common. Thanks for the reality check 💪
@user-bz5yk1eo4e Says:
That’s Asian fella looks natural to me. I was deployed for 6 months and we hit the gym hard and half my company made gains similar to that. Before the deployment we were all in bad shape after a very busy year. It was not possible for any of us to be juicing.
@drewmorrison Says:
The fact that Kumail Ali Nanjiani got absolutely shredded in just 6 months for The Eternals should be obvious. What’s disgusting is how Hollywood tries selling it as “hard work.” They’re basically gaslighting everyone who struggles to get in shape.
