If you covered over the first layer of tape with a layer of aluminum foil then layer of tape bigger bang. first layer melts as the powder burns, foil holds heat in. outer tape retains explosion

I haven’t flown through fireworks but I have seen a firework display from above. I worked a a parachute centre in Germany in 1997. We scheduled a night freefall jump on 5th November. (Even though we were in Germany, I was part of the British military posted to Germany at Sennelager. A couple of KMs from the base was the parachute centre at a Bad Lippspringe where I was posted). So the point is that we celebrated bonfire night even though we were in Germany. So while the firework display was going off on the other side of the airfield near the golf course, we went up to 10,000 ft and exited the aircraft. So I was in freefall at night above the firework display. It was an awesome sight watching the rockets come up and exploding thousands of feet beneath us. Pretty unique I think you’d agree. Fun fact, in the beginning.The reason the powder slow and you see those little red balls of stuff in it.When it's burning is because it's not mixed thoroughly enough. I make my own BP and I let it mix in a rock tumbler for a few days to get the best results.

hold on, i have a question. honey never spoils because it has little to no water, but at 3:01 you said that the gunpowder ignites after a long time because honey has a lot of water so which one is it?

The thing about the colours - that's how we determine the composition of distant stars, even thousands of light years away!

This kind of stuff is why I loved chemistry at school, and got a chemical engineering degree later on. LOCE chemistry, it's so cool.
@cellardoorcellardoor Says:
11:04 We used to collect small unburned spears off of the local oval the day after annual firework displays. We would light them with matches and they’d sparkle and produce different coloured flames. This guy must make better fireworks then whomever the council hired when I was a kid if nothing remains but the shell

Bro that gunpowder from the store was so cool when it was burning like if you turned it into an anime scene type with a cool stickman it should have been so cool

Try throwing spinners into the ocean and watch the results, awesome sight to behold! 😮
@kasachelan4545 Says:
Maybe the different colours at the flame colour test came from the impurities with potassium which burns in a yellow/orange like colour. Back in chemistry class we used blue Glas to filter those impurity colours. I think the green colour from the copper salt is also a mixture of that typically blue with the yellow from the potassium but I’m not sure about that

Can you write a song for me? Everything I do is wrong. When other people make mistakes, they blame me. I don't see anything wrong with that.Does God have eyes?God told me to be quiet and calm, but I haven't seen any positive results. It's been a year already.It's already past midnight, can I have a longer song, like 3-4 minutes? 12:08

I am just 7 1/2 minutes into the video, and you may have addressed this later, but you need to put it in a ball mill with lead or ceramic balls. Then, if you want it for back powder rifles, you moisten it with alcohol, press it into a puck with a hydraulic press, let it dry, smash it up, and run it through a series of wire mesh screens to get the various grain sizes. I make it for my black powder rifles

Fireworks need to go. It's so primitive and completely inconsiderate to the other millions of species we stole this planet from.
