Awesome Inferno summary! At Minotaur/Cerberus parts, critical apparatus in Dante editions notes Greek variants (e.g., Pausanias on myths). Primary sources add depth to medieval twists. Great vid! 👍

I really like this video, and your summary, but I'm a bit shocked that you skimmed Circle 8's most important resident (IMO): Caiaphas the High Priest

Dante’s vision of Hell is so similar to reports of near-death experiences it makes me wonder if Dante didn’t describe his own NDE.
@goldietheswagbear Says:
important to note that dante's divine comedy is not what the catholic church believes, not even back then, like even the people back then didn't like how dante put homosexuality deeper down than murder. it is biblical fanfiction basically, and basically dante going "haha the people i don't like is burning in hell!"

Satan has a retired self in hell. I can call upon a portion I met and claimed in battle but the guy hasn’t stepped foot in hell since public schools became available. You go through the stages being naturally grown on earth on very rare occasions can anyone devolve like I did. Homeless do. Antisocial do. Monks in isolation. These men can reach both the gates of heavens existent and hell that exists on earth. But there’s a catch you’d be having to do so in honor if you cannot make this trip as a natural born never taught or influenced. And Hades believe it or not is an origin of myself that could read think teach well not speak but most language development in writing he naturally taught himself to be reborn to do that.

Wow the ferryman the underworld Hades wow okay my mind just thought about something but I was speaking 🧠 I will have to come back to this + okay something came to mind remember the true story Lazarus rich man's gold the king who was in Hell suffering looking across the way to the heaven's Gates asking Father Abraham and the old man Lazarus for forgiveness and spare and Abraham said no you had your chance on Earth with knowing a free will of Good and bad and evil.
@HopeinLove-g1d Says:
Okay Dante said the air was thick with grief and sorrow + if the apocalypse was to happen and only a few of us or half a million survive overtime what does it look like to what we see what we hear and smell and what is the expression that we geve to each other when all goes to s*** and we're struggling grief and sorrow + no way that's what the end of the world is going to look like heck yeah let's go I want to keep learning.
@HopeinLove-g1d Says:
The Greek mythology of the world yes I will look into that plus I need to know more about mother Nyx + I know about my giving Angel Lilith from the garden.

I’m interested in part two and three. I never read the book back in school and I read a lot, but I’m enjoying this narration of it.
@dr.debbiewilliams Says:
According to Romans 8:38-39, nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. This includes death, life, angels, demons, the present, the future, powers, height, depth, or anything else in all creation. The passage in Romans 8:35-39 emphasizes the unwavering nature of God's love for believers. It lists various potential obstacles, such as tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, and the sword, but concludes that these cannot diminish God's love. This love is a constant, regardless of external circumstances or internal struggles.

I’ve made my own chart for various people and what circle they would get. The only spoiler I will give will probably ruffle some feathers. Being a true American, I put Jefferson Davis, John Wilkes Booth, and Robert E Lee in Satan’s mouth once he finally decides to swallow Judas, Brutus, and Cassius. For you non-Americans I will give an explanation. These 3 individuals all deal with the American Civil War. Jefferson Davis was the president of the Confederate States of America. Robert E Lee was the main general of the Confederacy and John Wilkes Booth was the person who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln.
