Thank you so much for making this video. I was a very young parent and it was the best thing that ever happened to me other than marrying my spouse and finding Jesus. There are joyful and wonderful things about the world that you are completely blinded to until you have children. People are so negative about it. Some of my kids are adults now, and they are amazing. There were tough times with them, but it was all beautiful in the end, even when things were not beautiful. The world changes when you have them, and it helps you to see what you need to do to make the world a better place. I hope that you all have the experience of being loved by a child. It will help you to remember that there are beautiful things in the world that aren't just material. If you are scared about it, that's ok. That's normal. You should have a respectful concern about doing things right for your kids. That is is the number one thing you need to start being a good parent. Love you all.

It's funny how people popping out children willy nilly clearly don't even realise that the world is going to be a very harsh place in 20-30 years due to climate change. I work with kids and what you do speaking wise is the best way for kids to learn languages. You just have to be constant. You have to speak JUST Swedish with him and Marzia JUST Italian, it helps him to differenciate the Languages better and don't Mix them up

The truth is that multilingual families have much more successful children on average. There’s a huge myth out there that it will make them fall behind to learn more than one language at a time. The reality is that if the child is getting deliberate and accurate immersion in said languages, they will do better than their peers in school by the end of elementary.
The problem comes with lack of consistency. Say, one or both parents switching languages, or the parents are not expecting the child to respond in the language directly spoken to them, or the child is expected to respond in the language of a parent they hardly interact enough with. That creates confusion and uncertainty.
Otherwise, language immersion is fantastic for children. It’s why such established programs exist all over the world and is growing in the US.

I doubt you'll read this but my youngest brother was born in France and we barely spoke french to him before he went to school and it was hard on a socialising level for him. It took a while for him to make friends and he had trouble listening to the teachers (we're speaking about a 3 year old here) because he didn't understand them well but before we figured it was moslty a language barrier, he was being seen by psychologists and whatnot to see if everything was 'ok' with him.
Fastforward a few years and he's a regular introverted boy (from a family of introverts, nothing unusual) but we did have to start speaking french to him to help the transition.

Sounds strange to me when people don’t want to express their true feelings over the internet because they are worried of being labelled something. Especially when these views are in line with science. Giving an iPad to a kid because you’re too busy or unwilling to parent your child is TERRIBLE for your children’s mental health. Why is Pewdiepie scared to say it? Because it would upset some people that work hard and don’t have the time? You can easily say that some people don’t have a choice although of course it questions their morality on why giving life to a child when they can’t afford to give them a decent life.

As a 22 year old I find it strange the amount of pride I feel for someone I've never met. In some ways I feel that Pewds has had the same influence on my development as an older brother would, having watched consistently since I was 10 I suppose that's not such a difficult thing to imagine, but seeing these videos and having flashbacks to the days of the battery song in outlast, it's hard to not feel tears welling up.
If you ever see this, I'm a better person today because of the influence you had as a personality and I cannot thank you enough for the inspiration and reassurance you've provided over the last 12 years. Bjorn has a hell of a role model to look up to. I'm sure that nothing new has been said here, but it doesn't make it any less true, and I think it would be remiss of me to not say it at least once.

When my husband and I found out you guys were expecting we were so excited. A friend asked why we cared and we answered about how incredible life becomes after having a kid. It’s like unlocking a whole new part of yourself and perspective that you didn’t know existed. And we are always happy finding out that others are on their way to experience the blessing of kids as well. 🥹🥰
