Definitely not the murder mansion, but you should check out the really tall hunting blind up near Kingsland. I don't even know how high up it is, but we had to stop a couple times climbing the stairs to catch it breath. It was originally going to be handicap accessible and be used to help people who can't personally go out hunting. (Knew the guy who used to own the property and is the one who made it happen. He sold the property but I'm guessing that blind is still there

Matt . I would just build your platform for the blind. Make it tall. Not 8 ft. Deck the top so you have nice place to stand ouside the door and get situated. Nice stairs. As for the brush I would rent a tree cutter for the skidsteer. If you are up high enough you can keep the brush close to the stand and open some lanes and clearings out 60-75 yards. 360 degrees of your own murder mansion..
