so its all due to the sheet the drawing is on is expanding
@farkletwat24642 Says:
So the energy is lost to the expansion of the universe?

another story of mainstream science, they will flip as many times as needed for whatever new nonsense they cooked up.

Great video. Thanks

energy is always conserved. it changes forms and planes, and realities and concepts, but its always preserved. thats why life exists.
@mithatarslan7879 Says:
Do we need this info for any practical use case?
@devdobariya Says:
I always kind of imagined: "What if the universal constants we have ever discovered like Gravitational Constant, Planks constant, etc are all changing slowly over the course of millions or billions of years? Like the physics theories we have today might change in the far future. The current physics we have today is not the same as the time of Big Bang.". Watching this video kind of made me think about that idea again. Maybe my idea is right, maybe its wrong. You may never know. Even if it is right then we currently have no means to prove it experimentally since it takes millions of years to change.

Energy is conserved. You just don't know about gravitons yet.

@onekutguy Says:
If an astronaut existed in a completely void and static universe and he/she threw a rock, at some point (trillions and trillions and trillions of years later) the rock would enter into an elliptical orbit around the astronaut. That's because the astronaut's gravitational effect extends all the way to the edge of the universe no matter how infinitesimally small that gravitational effect is.
@jc03571 Says:
The same argument can be made for translation and rotational symmetry, so with this logic there is no symmetry and nothing is conserved.

I think this is based on a true story.
@IsabelEglitis Says:
Which TYPE of energy is NOT conserved?!?
@LiamSelig-v3n Says:
doesn't that mean time needs to be incorporated though?
@paulflute Says:
you could also turn the triangle over... and then do everything again.. ????

But...... ................................ space isn't 100% empty. So the universe example of losing speed is an incorrect example for verification of this theory!
@ChinmayaSingh-x2l Says:
I learned more today than I did after a full general relativity course
@OmarGonzalez-n7m3q Says:
If you're an astronaut in an empty universe you are not in an empty universe if you move an object in a static universe that object has properties itself and it is not a static universe. The example is not realistic.
@DragonKingZero Says:
Poor Newton, getting practically all of his laws (and many of his ideas about physics in general) invalidated by relativity.
@anton_98 Says:
Energy leaks out of the universe... guys, seems too wild:D
@og_mambo Says:
When the laws of physics so clearly follow clean mathematical concepts... it is inevitable to conclude that we live in a simulation
@joedon1234 Says:
So....there are no concrete 'laws of physics" just theories. Got it

The more I watch these videos the more I get convinced that even the brightest of humanity is in a very bad form in terms of general intelligence. They spend lifetime effort to figure out stuff that takes milliseconds to process ... a note for AI...

Every Thing is conserved... do what you want... we can only discover... discover... and discover...
@goodphone156 Says:
I don't believe at this theory ! That energy disappear! If it does it must recreate in one way or another ! And in somewhere! If this theory is correct the universe will dissapear in the form we know today ! I believe that a oart can be conserved and a part cannot ! But it certainly doesn't disappear!but ut certainly is , will be somewhere and when we talk about energy conservation it is always referred to a clised or limited system taken into consideration!
@rraiderr17395 Says:
So this is how I understand it (correct me) since the universe is expanding and accelerating, when you throw the rock it will stop because relative to us it is now the same speed as the expansion because it accelerated by same speed the rock initially started with?
@markalmond7778 Says:
If you zoom out far enough for time dilation to matter, wouldn’t the constant become energy/volume?
@Cookies4Wookiees Says:
Energy is conserved through transfer.
