Please do an experiment to throw this ball in vacumm and see if after mid point it falls staright down or not
@ronznine7870 Says:
Al those words to end up with wind causes wobbles? Middle schools are filled with 12 yrs that could’ve told you that. Good to know the Nobel is safe this year.
@Qui-Bong-Jin Says:
Guy says. “Ok, so we’re kinda trying to explain why the ball turns—“
Brady. “Yeah so we call that a turnover.”
I’ve been laughing at that for like 3 minutes now! Wtf dude
@Me.321 Says:
Seems pretty obvious you’re pushing the football at an upward angle from the back of the ball enough until the ball succumbs to gravity when doesn’t have enough power behind the ball to drive the tip of the ball into the air then gravity starts pushing the football towards larger object. It just follows its momentum and tilts where the power is leading it toward the tip. Just like a javelin. Maybe I’m simplifying things but how did people not even have a theory until 5 years ago that seems wrong.
@sandytanomthap1289 Says:
Must have been the wind
@evanbelisle8464 Says:
Tom “what if we deflated the ball?”
@markiyanhapyak349 Says:
WhoEVER watched this fully......experienced a BAD loss of time!! 🤬 🤬
@jasonriviera2621 Says:
Now you can call it a hand ball😮😊
@jasonriviera2621 Says:
Will increas RPM
@jasonriviera2621 Says:
Especially the laces at a angle 😂
@jasonriviera2621 Says:
Don't cut the leather in dimension shape, cut in spiral, with pronounsed seams.. 😅
@AAA-fv Says:
No, spinning makes a gyroscopic effect which makes it slower to rotate. But the reason is about pros and cons. Why bullets should spin? To avoid rotation around other axis parallel to the main one...
@kevinderrick2787 Says:
A JAVELIN
ALSO ARCS
BACK TO EARTH
But it doesn't seem possible the same forces could be at work
@shihabasolei Says:
Where's the football?
@mattsbicyclerepair1413 Says:
Sorry bro, it was the wind.
Yea…. It really fkn was. Oh sweet vindication.
@ntukxzungu Says:
Interesting 😅😅😅
@fatabeestje Says:
Hey that's Harrison, the son of "Dexter".. 😉
@KyleMatt11 Says:
The trick is you also want the ball slightly deflated, right tom? 😉
@samwiley331 Says:
Yeah, so, aerodynamics, just like Tom Brady said
@Frank-h4p6y Says:
Gyroscopic
@dezzmaan5079 Says:
1). Brady doesn’t GAF 😂. 2). Aaron Rodger’s is better. Fight me.
@inemanja Says:
Why is this rando acting like he's understanding any of this explanation?
@fragwaves Says:
He just told him he sucks respectfully 😂
@fragwaves Says:
Thats why they catch it without looking at it
@crk2288 Says:
This is dumb. No explanation needed. Tom explained it with his responses. "Do not recommend channel".
@samuelpalfreyman9143 Says:
We didn’t know til 2020 how a football works?!
@ginsboro Says:
"football"
@tommylee2894 Says:
The spin of a football is like the spin of a bullet...accuracy of flight path to target!
@Cavanjie Says:
It is not a football ⚽️. Football ⚽️ was invented many decades before American rugby 🏉 existed. American rugby is a much better description for their game. Calling it football 🏈 is just plain stupid.
@DavidWeb0311 Says:
NERD
@robertweber8936 Says:
Its just rotary physics which we have known for a long time. Larger inertia moment or more rpm makes a massive stabilise about axis of rotation
@ptyeueiiwjd Says:
This is gyroscopic procession
@overryde113 Says:
So would throwing a football without spin be better then throwing a football with spin?
@colincolin13 Says:
This doesn't make sense at all!
It doesn't necessarily spin.
There may be no wind.
You ignore inertia and moment.
Why should it tilt to the right (and not the left)?
Just doesn't make sense!
@JSterko Says:
That's not a ball. A ball is round and spherical. This thing is oval.
Apparently, it's not played with the foot either. Therefore, they should call the sport handoval.
@RichVsPoor-WeAreThePoor Says:
Notice how this video only has 644 comments including my comment. And the other videos has a few thousands comments. What I’m trying to say is Nerds/ Dorks don’t like sports unless it’s a sport video game 🎮
@lucahermann3040 Says:
Now hear me out... What if we made a football round? Completely spherical. Then it wouldn't have to be front weighted *or* spinning.
@JunkMail-mn1ro Says:
Down with private equity.
@trogdor420 Says:
That's a handegg
@BrunoRibeiro89 Says:
So... Spin stabilization like in satellites? 🤷♂️
@Polux721 Says:
Tom: do I have to give my rings back?
@Ninerlife408 Says:
Geno Smith has perfected the turn over.. ask him.
@nicolasmourao163 Says:
This is not a ball
@rhythamgavit Says:
Mr brady was very humble and intrested in enitre video while demonstrating his exceptional throwing skill a lot of people are considering him very negative or stereotyping him but in reality he actually said that he wasnt really good in school at studies. He is humble man and really paid all attention and tried understand whatever they were were telling him. It was a great video.
@teecore Says:
"Why does it then turn?"
...Let me stop and correct you right there with our football jargon by inserting an unnecessary word. ...It makes us sound intelligent.
Scientist: ...that's not *technically* a turn-over....
@devinhatter6372 Says:
I learned exactly nothing
@ArcanumofthePirothonites Says:
Why? White power serves black power. That's why. And browns hahahahah which uncle gonna take out every other family member and say they in the same sentence as Nubian perfections 😂😂😂😂😂
@rileymonaghan2575 Says:
Disagree sorry
Because a good quarterback does more regularly throw a tight spiral than a bad quarterback who throws more wobbles.
Not due to wind.
Even based on science, a good QB, the end of the balls flight path starts to wobble more, but that's because of air drag, gradually slowing the rotation of the ball, reducing cyntripical force, THEN allowing wind and drag to create a wobble on the ball
@MrJosephdrummond Says:
Nice of him to tell Tom frickin Brady that he's not a bad quarterback
