this happened here, in my city, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. As a kid, me and all my friends dreamed of going down that building with a skate.

Larger wheels? 😂
@PREETIGUPTA-o5v Says:
Why didn't he just flu hr get wings!
@owenmcdonald5806 Says:
vertasium are sellouts
@aronlane4664 Says:
The free fall might make it close to impossible to start from the top and complete it , but the speed isn't an issue for a skilled rider with the right board , there are many videos of road guys going a fair bit faster and even one guy going 143km /hr , the death wobbles aren't an issue for those boards
@briannicholls2628 Says:
That was one of the most amazing feats ever done
@jayluck8047 Says:
So it’s a natural occurrence? Good. That makes me feel better about the two consecutive wipe-outs I took - going down the longest 30 degree hill in town - when I was twelve.
@LordPinky455 Says:
Indeed... my first and only bone break was with a skateboard being pulled by a motorbike with a waterski rope... i started wobbeling and before i knew it i was on the ground; dove straight to the ground thinking i was jumping off it. Ah the dumb sins of our youth 🫣😅
@wildernns Says:
Why not just make the ramp shorter then? Fools.
@bmilano1580 Says:
Where is Derek?
@markblacket8900 Says:
there is nothing magical about 30 km/h, I've gone faster than that and I'm average at best, the wobbles depend on weight distribution, truck configuration and board length
@echoexplore4190 Says:
shock absorbers lol
@Jethred_Radulfr Says:
It's not a very convincing explanation given what extreme skaters are capable of
@wurya8951 Says:
Ich hab gedacht Red Bull verleiht Flügel
@siavoshbahrami5291 Says:
What’s the song called playing in the background?
@URAZKIVANER Says:
You gave a different reason at the beginning then continued explaining a different phenomena 🤣 Simple answer is: at the top there is a 90 degree angle which prevents a human to stick the wheels of any vehicle to the surface unless there is some kind of vacuum force happening just like Roller coasters they have rail system and friction of the following cars to help them for 90+ degree drops (yes there is one) which hold the wheels in place. For Sandro it would have been a free fall 🤣
@HalkerVeil Says:
No. There are stabilizers.
@TS_Mind_Swept Says:
Red Bull being the type that is so busy asking if, they forget to ask why
@coreyfaith69 Says:
So he isnt good enough

Just stupid.. Nothing to gain.. Like RB couldnt give hand out for african kids thats starving or something? Build wells etc.. but no.. We build sky ramps so some old granpa can roll down from it...
@JucheNecromancer Says:
something strange happens lmao
@Sunshine_Tidings Says:
Ah yes, the speed wobbles. My worst nightmare as a kid.
@artcadefourtwenty Says:
So what if you do free fall dude is fully padded up I will drop in from the top of this if I was given the opportunity
@vanessacherche6393 Says:
speed wobbles
@waffle_doge5594 Says:
Actually it’s not above 30 km per hour. It depends on how loose your trucks are. Like I used to ride super loose trucks and I’d get them when going down a small ramp.
@darpmosh6601 Says:
I'm curious, why not use stickier wheels that stick to the ramp so we can make sure the skateboard doesn't slide at the top?
@apox981 Says:
Got it, so it wasn’t impossible and he pussied out with a bs reason
@N54God666 Says:
I don't have garbage 100ms reaction time. Try more like 10ms
@saminbansal9807 Says:
Red Bull appears everywhere
@mikecynic5167 Says:
otherwise known as speed wobbles. Also, vert ramps have a few feet of vertical where you're in freefall, but it's over in a second. Some ramps even have a bit of over vertical.
@Sumwun-d9r Says:
This phenomenon is called: flutter.
@numberlover8181 Says:
How about using a longer board?. That means naturally the rotational speed will be less. It could also increase the mass of the board so that it has less resistance to movement. I don't believe that 100 km per hour could possibly be the fastest that somebody could go with that type of steering system.
@1samc Says:
The banner in the right, “RED BULL TE DA AAAASAS” is typed either incorrectly. If it isn’t, does Red Bull give you ass? “Wings” in Spanish is spelled with an “l” for lima, not an “s” haha
@WordsWithAndre Says:
Sai da frente GUEEEEDES!🛹💥
@Carlosspicyweinerish Says:
Heaven is a halfpipe
@retrocessionworks Says:
I’ve dropped in to a bowl with 3 feet of vert a number of times. Never got comfortable. It felt like free fall even with that small amount of vert.

I thought in the original video from redbull and Sandro, they explained that the downforce in the transition was also going to be too extreme above the height he dropped from. 👀
